Ordered sushi for the first time. We paid 70 dollars for hardly any fish in the rolls. I have never had a restaurant be so skimpy on their rolls before. We will not be coming back.

The food is delicious ?, teriyaki bowl has been my go-to and my 9yr old loves it also.
Jay has been our server and she is friendly and funny. Prompt service and attitude. Excellent customer service.
I highly recommend dine in or take out. Otherwise delivery. Tip well especially for delivery.

I had been in here once before and it took forever for anyone to help me out. They had just opened so I was trying to be understanding about it. Decided to try it again and brought my son with me. Food was pretty ok, they do have a good teriyaki bowl ( I originally thought I had ordered a plate but that’s ok) I had ordered the Goyoza roll and they brought us out an unagi. I mentioned that they must have had the wrong table and they took it back. My server was OK she wasn’t very friendly and to be honest she was wearing some creepy contacts and just felt like she was staring into my soul in a bad way ahah no humor no emotion just dead eyes. Anywho, took kinda long for my rolll to come out and I saw another waitress take it to another table and she laughed and brought it back then bring it to our table. Which was kinda annoying but I didn’t let it get to me. What got to me was when I paid my server didn’t even say goodnight or thank you when I tipped her she just gave me a weird look because I tipped her 5 on a 35 dollar check. To be fair I had to go up and pay, she didn’t bring me my check, she wasn’t friendly and they brought out the wrong food to our table. I’m not gonna tip 20% on avoidable bad service. I’m a server I get it and I usually try to be kind and nice to the customers I’m serving. I probably won’t be coming back just because it left a bad taste in my mouth twice already. I can make my own teriyaki bowls and get sushi from Sakura lol.

The food here is always good. My wife and I have been here four times, gotten different items every time and have never been disappointed. Between the tempura, teriyaki, and sushi this place is a gem. The quality and the price can’t be beat.

Best overall sushi place in Auburn (which isnt saying too much considering Hanami is awful and Take maru's isnt even open half the time). However the food here is always really good whether your getting terriyaki or sushi. The service was alot better when they first started but now that they have a regular customer basis it seems that sometimes they struggle to keep up a bit. Either way great food, great atmosphere, and nice workers despite the wait.
You can not pass this place without trying their food! Oishii means delicious, and the food is really outstanding !

This was our first visit to Oishii’s and they will not disappoint. We each choose a different item for lunch, teriyaki plate, bento box, teriyaki salad, etc. They serve the best tofu I have ever had, absolutely delicious, just perfect! And such a fun variety of beverages. We’ll definitely be going back!
