The food and service were great. Unfortunately, it's in a rather old facility that could use some updating.
Small but clean. And the food is a 10 out of 10. We will be back!
Sakura Sushi is the best sushi around. We love Hank's creativity, presentation and super high quality fish and all his ingredients. Krystal and Janice are always very attentive that they make you feel like you've always known them.
We highly recommend Sakura Sushi.
Small place but the foid is great!
shockingly good — my husband loves sushi so much and we’ve eaten at so many japanese restaurants. this one stands out by a landslide.
Food: we ordered 4 rolls: monster and baked lobster -baked rolls, and Sakura and spider rolls. Too much rice and not enough fish on the rolls, the roll size are too small the monster and spider were 5 pieces. Feels like a little rip off for just under 75 bucks.
Service: when we walked, we were the only customers there, we were greeted and sat down at the table. We were often checked upon during our dinner.
Atmosphere: it’s December it’s chilly outside, but please no need to ramp up the heater to max in a sushi restaurant, the smell of fish takes over and it’s not very pleasant smell.
I’m rarely in Auburn , was passing by. I’ll less likely be making more stops at Sakura.
The most delicious sushi I have ever tasted. Service is also wonderful. We are from SF Bay Area, but even with our great selection of sushi restauraunts, this place is the best, it is a little gem.
Went to Sushi Japanese restaurant for lunch. The food was beyond my expectations. Excellent food! My go to restaurant.

Very yummy and very nice people! The teriyaki was some of the best I’ve had, the chicken was perfect and the sauce was over the top. Would recommend great stop!

It was very okay. The prices are absurd though, I got the chefs pick 12pc. combo and for the price it's not worth it. Most items you find on the menu cost way less at other sushi restaurants. I got a dessert and it was hard as a rock, the owner of the place told me I had to wait to eat it. Personally, you shouldn't have to wait to eat the food that's right in front of you. Probably won't be coming back here, it has good a variety but costs wayyy too much for such simple dishes

I haven’t had such high quality nigiri for years. For each city I visit, my first choice is always sushi. I am super glad that this restaurant blowed my mind. I have tried 12 different nigiris, none of them are not tasty. The fish melt in your mouth immediately, rich flavors flow over your tongue. I can’t wait to come back again if I get another chance to visit Auburn.

Wonderful quaint restaurant I tried for the first time. Delicious meals beautifully arranged. Our server was explaining much of the menu to me as a newcomer was very pleasant the whole time.
Parking: Easy access to the front door from the lot.
Kid-friendliness: 12 year old liked Spider roll, tea and Japanese cheese cake.
