Best brisket I've had in California, the owner was working solo and managed to get our food out quickly and provide us with a delicious family meal. Always appreciate supporting local businesses especially when the owner is obviously working hard to make it work, great food, great prices and great location to hit on the way to or from truckee
Delicious pork ribs, homemade mashed potatoes, and chili beans. Nothing was oversalted, which I appreciate. Servings so big I was able to get 3 meals out of it. Nice smoked flavor on the ribs. Yummy special treat!
This might be best bbq in Auburn CA, but overall just ok - somewhat bland and average. We were debating if the smoker out front was real or just a prop. The beef brisket was shredded beef. Beans tasted like from a can. Again, it was fine and decent value - just not worthy of 5 star reviews.
