Amazing in every aspect. Great service. Delicious food. Atmosphere is splendid.

Tonight was my family’s very first time at Sums. A friend had suggested we try and while we were in the area, we decided to walk in. The waiter was super nice and explained the process. First green flag was the fact the filling station was full, fresh, and mess free. Second, they had a suggested recipe for the sauces (perfect amount of everything) third, the man who was to cooked food was very sweet! Fourth, the taste of the food was phenomenal! We will definitely be back!

Not much has changed over the years. The folks that own Sum’s Mongolian Barbecue Restaurant have always been accommodating, friendly and served fresh food.

Watching the chef’s prepare our selected dinner and cook it over the giant Mongolian barbecue stone is always a sight to see.

The atmosphere really hasn’t changed over the years, still cozy and down to earth.

We couldn’t give a five for the food because it seemed like the vegetables were a little sparse this time.

Overall, the experience was a five because during our visit we had the opportunity to watch the The Canyons Endurance Run by UTMB!!!

So if you come eat at Sum’s Mongolian Barbecue Restaurant, you never know what you’re gonna find happening in Auburn. It’s a great little town with huge personality! Places like Sum’s Mongolian barbecue restaurant is what makes Auburn such a great place to visit!!

Food is okay, but they look for cheap ways to add extra charges. We go here once in a while. Used to be better, but all of their sauces are so watered down now. The cooks are pretty rude, the servers are nice.

Cozy place with excellent BBQ selections and tastes great. Workers are pleasant and attentive. I will be going back again!

Best Mongolian bbq ive ever had!!

I was taken here for the first time on Monday, and it was absolutely delicious! The ingredients are fresh and they have a decent amount of options to customize your bowl. The service was great as well as each member of staff did their best to ensure we had everything we needed.

I’ll definitely be coming back!

Sum's is an institution in old town Auburn, going back 30 years. Food is the usual buffet style choose your own ingredients, then cooked over the massive Mongolian grill in front of you. It's never going to be gourmet, but service is always excellent, and there are several Asian beers available if you are so inclined. They can be extremely busy at lunch during the school year as the high schoolers chow down on noodles. If you are in Auburn and hungry, you will not be disappointed.
