This is such a hidden gem! Everything we had was so beautiful made and plated. I highly recommend the spicy octopus salad, the melting albacore was perfect, and the nigiri was some of the best I've ever tried. You can tell them at the hef has great attention to detail and cares about what he puts out.

This place is great for vegans, with a veggie roll section (most things veganizable by removing mayo), several vegan salads, tempura, and more. I once asked them for "ten different vegan rolls - you choose" for an event and they delivered with limited notice. Amazing! Very nice and helpful people with tasty food.
Some vegan options are off menu, too... Worth asking if there's something you want but don't see listed. They have inari, several pickled veggies, and more.

Very nice folks! Take Maru has been open for 13 years and we have frequented their restaurant every year they have been serving. Family owned and operated. They have survived the lean years and they serve visually enticing and a wide variety of flavors in their dishes.

This was our first time eating here. The food was great. All our sushi and appetizers tasted really good. The service could use a little improvement. I feel bad for the staff because there was only one person working the front, and one chef making everything. They were obviously spread very thin, hopefully next time we go they will have some help to make things run a little more smoothly. They did prepare quite a few to go orders, so that might be the way to go. Be aware, there is a kids “play” area but it’s located in the main dining area near the tables. So if loud kids playing in a restaurant aren’t your jam, just know it’s a possibility.

Delicious vegan options! Only looked like two employees were running the whole show, so our service wasn't the most attentive. The layout of the restaurant was a little odd, definitely a casual space. Took about an hour to get our food, but once again, it was obvious they were running a tight ship, so we didn't mind. Maybe don't come here if you're in a hurry.

We have been going here ever since they opened after they bought the Chinese restaurant. We thought we would miss the chinese restaurant when it closed, but we went and tried the Sushi restaurant and we loved it instantly! Great restaurant, excellent friendly service! You guys are always awesome!
