I try not to be negative and write bad reviews but I felt this one was worthy. I paid $17 for a roast beef sandwich that was not good. A small piece of cake $8. I know things have gone up but that's $17 sandwich was way overpriced.

Excellent baked goods! Love the seeded sourdough. They have quite a few fresh bread options. I look forward to trying more varieties, all of which use high quality ingredients!

This place gave me a first bad impression to not just me but my sister. This is a late review but I had just gotten married and my friend had planned on getting me a cake which she was unable to fulfill.. so my sister decided to stop by and grab a cake from here and it was the raspberry cake beginning of October...for my wedding celebration and it had mold on the frosting. Very Shameful. She did get a refund but considering this was first time business... and definitely the last

have always drove past this place and it is always busy and surprisingly for being so busy all time they do not consider having more room for customers. it was crowded with people standing all squished together and the line moved fast but having all those tables squished together still made it crowded. my family had a hard time getting out with customers crowding the door. the pastries were dry, we tried the specials of the week pastries, they were very mediocre. baked and brewed honestly has better pastries. this is the most overhyped bakery/cafe in the area. the only redeeming quality about the place is the kind workers they were so sweet even though it was incredibly hard to hear with the loud volume of all the customers and i could see the workers in the back working very hard.

I literally just had the most amazing slice of carrot cake I’ve ever had in my life and I don’t even like carrot cake.

I don’t like walnuts, I don’t like raisin but the cream cheese and cake knocked my socks off. The cake was so moist and the cream cheese was NOT sweet.

I didn’t buy the cake, it was a gift in my office and I am shook. I will drive from Roseville to Auburn to buy this again. Bravo.

Extremely friendly staff manning the table at the WED farmer's market in Sacramento. Olive loaf was better than Faria (!). Apricot scone and muffins on the crumbly side. My cornflake cookie fell apart. I'll be back for bread.
