Their bread is extremely popular and their sandwiches are really good if your dining in.Parking: Parking can be a bit of a nightmare. There’s only street parking in the street is somewhat busy.

Great bakery with a simple breakfast and lunch. I had a croissant with fruit that was delicious and my friend had a salad with a very nice homemade bread. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Crowded during lunch. Highly recommend!

Good bakery stuff… I was the only brown man walking into this place and got a few unwelcome look from the faces of a few old locals folks sitting there and sipping coffee… but hey who cares, this is the land of the free!!!! Good bakery stuff and they also served local handcrafted coffee. Good quick stop if you are heading to

The cookies here until this last visit were my favorite cookies hands down. My husband was driving through town and thought he would pick up some cookies for me since Christmas was only a few days away. He bought a lot more than he usually does and I was very dissatisfied with even the thought cookies would even be sold this burnt . I know they’re not soft cookies to begin with I know exactly how these cookies should be but these were burnt to the point that they were just un - enjoyable . I appreciate the time taken to bake and labor put into the job as a baker and I’m not being unappreciative of hard work but please do better next time . So sad that some of these had to go to waste !

Delicious!!!!! Best bread, sandwiches and chai lattes. The pesto sandwich with eggplant is mouthwatering. Super friendly staff and delicious pastries. Always hit this gem up on our way up the hill!

The Baker and Cakemaker is a stinking cute name for a bakery. The bakery is aptly name, the owners are a husband and wife team that are culinary trained. They make artisan bread and pastries using organic flours. The cakes, pastries, cookies, and breads are all gorgeous looking. The bakery also serve fresh made sandwiches and salads, and coffee drinks. They have an indoor dining and outdoor sidewalk seating, cozy seating for smaller numbered groups. At the counter, I ordered an almond milk chocolate mocha but it tasted more like a latte. I also bought an almond croissant, frosted snowman sugar cookie, and chocolate chip cookie. Mmm... they were yummy. The folks sitting at the next table ordered sandwiches. Boy, those looked so beautifully delicious, fresh, and hearty. The sandwich menu is quite creative.
This review is for the bread they serve at Whole Foods. Incredible bread! So delicious! So nice to have a local company (auburn) making this amazing bread in a time when it’s almost impossible to find good bread

Got the pastrami sandwich and a cardamom snail and a potato ball. The sandwich was very satisfying and filling. There was more to be desired with the pastries..I see a lot of potential if you take it home and reheat it in an air fryer tho. That tends to be my style if I order extras, take home and reheat for that freshly baked experience ?. It's just my preference!The line can look long but it surprisingly went fast. I'd love to come back to try the cakes, they looked delicious!Giving it a 3 on food because there's more to try.
