The Station Public House

I used to love this place and would frequent them often but after today I will never be back. I’m not someone who expects a red carpet customer service experience and I hate leaving bad reviews on small businesses but I’ve never met such horrible service from the staff here.

My mom and I came here for dinner. When we walked to the counter to order, the guy taking our order seemed ticked off that we were even there. I order, kindly thank him and he doesn’t say a word. We sit down, our food comes, and the Buddha Bowl my mom ordered couldn’t even be considered a “snack” let alone a dinner. Add to it, HALF of the ingredients listed on the menu were missing from the meal. No exaggeration. My mom had to confront them THREE TIMES and they only brought out the sauce and seemed irritated they had to… 22$ for a bowl of brown beans, slaw, 4 shrimp, and a huge side of attitude.

The only thing this place has going for it is an outdoor area with umbrellas, but if the service and food are inadequate then that defeats the whole purpose. If I were the owner, I’d seriously consider better employees that won’t put a bad name on your business and will care about the food they serve.
We will not be coming back.

Nice place to chill and listen to the music. They turned the misters off for some reason, and it was a pretty hot day. Food came out fast and it was good.

Good burger

The wings with classic hot sauce were on point and the wedge salad was huge. Great outdoor atmosphere and tons of open seating. I'm sure the inside will be fantastic when it's all finished. Friendly staff and an easy ordering process.

I recommend it, nice place

Nice oasis in the convection oven heat of Auburn! Staff was friendly and helpful with menu selections! Great selection of brews and non alcoholic beverages, I had a draft root beer for my drive. The grilled cheese on sourdough (came with a side) with a large side salad with honey lemon vinaigrette was delicious and perfect for a lighter lunch faire. Reasonably priced. Everything tasted fresh. Service was excellent— food came out fast and delivered with a smile. Nice courtyard with plenty of shade and misters— did not feel at all uncomfortable in the heat. Ample parking. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed in this little pub.

This place was pretty cool. Outdoor seating, live band, good food and great staff. Chris helped me at the bar and was super helpful, knowledgeable and patient. Great experience. Again, kudos to Chris and the staff. Definitely will go back when I'm in Auburn again.

I love this place I just wish they had more restrooms.
