This is our first time to try this great ice cream and beer restaurant. A nice change from the yogurt across the street. It has a great atmosphere, with awesome murals. The person working was really friendly and knowledgeable. I tried two different flavors of ice cream and they were both delicious! My son had mini pancakes! We will definitely return and support this new place. Located right near the Clock Tower. They also have a upstairs dining loft!

Ice cream & beer - hard to mess it up! Yeti Tavern is a fun spot for the whole family and is turning into an Auburn staple. Great service, check it out after dinner next time you're in downtown!

Awesome hospitality and great ice cream. The owner and all of his staff are friendly. Pinball machines upstairs that are a lot of fun. The Yeti Tavern never disappoints.

Well maintained pinball games. Nice cream flavors and some decent beers. Have to admit that I don't really eat ice cream and drink beer together. Weird combo, but the quality of both are good here.

I was in North Lake Tahoe and around Truckee trying to find an ice cream shop several times and they were all closed for the season despite the warm weather. The closest store I found that wasn't a chain store/fast food spot was The Yeti Tavern. Thanks to the photos of the beer ice cream float, we immediately decided to come here.Upon arriving, Dallas was there to greet us and was super friendly, even suggesting where there is nearby scenic views. I tried many ice cream samples and we also got to try beer samples too. We decided on a peach + green tea ice cream cone and a beer float. Delicious! Before leaving, Dallas gave us a magnet souvenir as if he had read my mind!!! In Truckee I looked in all the stores to find a souvenir magnet for my fridge and couldn't find any at all. He definitely made our day! I'd definitely love to come back next time I pass by: 5 star experience!

This is the best place to get Ice cream in placer county. Danielle is the best icecream artist I have ever seen scoop. And she pours the beers perfectly every time. They have a great selection of local beers on tap.

Came here with family on a weekday evening while visiting the area. I think we'll skip it next time - it just wasn't for us. Pros: -polite employee-pinball machines -unique ice cream flavorsCons:-very small and cramped, definitely no room for a line-there was a really strong perfume smell. When I asked what it was, she said she didn't know, but that a lot of people mention it. -beer floats tasted bad, and were 85% foam

We stopped in from Tahoe for some ice cream and we were pleasantly surprised with some smooth, delicious ice cream! I loved the mint chocolate chip with tiny chops and my kids loved the chocolate ice cream and orange. My husband was also able to try a small IPA on tap and said it was delightful. In addition, the young lady working was a delight to have and very helpful with allowing us to sample the ice creams. Thank you! Great spot.
