Visiting Avalon for an extended weekend for my birthday so we decided to give Avalon Grille a try for dinner and had a very nice experience. They don’t take reservations, like most restaurants on Catalina, but there was no wait when we arrived at 5:30 and were able to be seated right away. I have come here once a year for a special birthday celebration for many years and though service is always wonderful and something I look forward to, I am posting this review specifically for the ownership as I find it appalling to decide to not accept cash now. If you wish to have a Vegas membership data hoard, give out cards and make it voluntary. This is such a turn off that I will not be planning to return next year. Please reconsider such tactics.
