Bluewater Avalon is a gem on Catalina Island! Located right on the waterfront, this cafe offers incredible views of Avalon Bay, which makes it perfect for a scenic lunch or dinner. The vibe is relaxed and inviting, with an open-air patio that lets you feel the ocean breeze as you dine.

The seafood here is as fresh as it gets—highlights include the clam chowder, seared ahi, and fish tacos, all perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Their fish and chips are also a must-try and pair well with their craft cocktails or a glass of local wine.

The soonest we arrived they brought us sourdough warm bread with real butter. Drinks are very good and they serve fast. I order the gemilli pasta with Shimps and scallops, it was great !! If you like pasta you gona love it. My boyfriend ordered paella and he like it. Since I come from a chef mom, now one can top her paella ;). The view is one of the perfect spots right in front of the Marina. I really recommend you to visit the restaurant.

Service great , Paella had too much paprika, Halibut was excellent. Buffalo milk had zero alcohol in it . Really Mr bartender?

The clam chowder and grilled mussels were delicious but I also ordered a battered seafood plate with coleslaw and fries which was super plain would not recommend

Big & nice place in front of the sea.
Gentle & friendly staff.
The clam chowder was not bad but, over price.
The special dish & past were good. The restaurant view was perfect.
P.S. Sourdough bread served with butter on the table warm and soft .. so perfect!!

Great views, relaxing, awesome vibes. The food was ok, we had high expectations for the fish but it felt under seasoned or just missing something. Best dish was the ahí tuna, and their table bread.

The view out on the deck is great. The good is pretty good but a but pricey, you pay for the location. Service was good. I had the local swordfish and really enjoyed it.

Ordered a wagyu burger medium rare, meat was low quality thin patty burned beyond well done. Asked waiter to have it redone and he said he would but it would take a long time since it was dinner and coming up on closing at 8pm. I ate the burger and it was awful, no offer for a refund, substitution, or anything like that. They are charging fine dining prices without the quality. We ate at most restaurants in the area and this was the only bad one, highly recommend going anywhere else.
