Good food, although out of mussels! Great setting! Pricey, but well prepared. Sat outside next to heater, but out of propane for heater so we froze a bit. Overworked server forgot literally everything we asked for, no apologies.

Bluewater Avalon Seafood Restaurant is built right on and over the water in Avalon's little marina. There is indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside and watched the beautiful sunset and some fish in the water right below us. The view during dinner was fabulous. There are heaters if it gets cold. The ambience is very nice and where we were sitting it was nice and quiet. The staff was attentive, friendly, efficient, and very nice. There is an extensive wi e list and cocktails...

We came here for dinner on our first night in Catalina, and it was good choice. Everyone liked their meals and the fries were the best ones we had on the island. My sea bass was meh, lacked in flavor, but everything else was very good! We got:

Grilled Chicken Chopped Salad
Spicy Margaritas
