I had dinner here twice this week and wow… this place has really turned around! The food was amazing, I had the tamales one night and tacos the next. Freddy was a great host and I’m really happy with the improvements they’ve made to this place over the winter. Definitely will be back!
So I just got back from Catalina and I'm still reeling from the most epic drink ever - Buffalo Milk, yeah I know, weird name, but trust me, it's a game changer. We hit up Coyote Joe's, because, Mexican food, duh, and I was on a mission to try this mythical drink. We scored a seat outside, because people watching is the best, and the weather was straight fire. We ordered the cheese enchiladas plate, because, basic, and my wife got the Birria Tacos, which were, no joke, amazing. My enchiladas, meh, but hey, I wasn't there for the food, I was there for the Buffalo Milk. Our waitress brings out these two glasses, one big, one small, and I'm thinking, okay, this is it, and oh man, it did not disappoint. I tasted the small glass, and I get it, the hype is real. It's like crack, but, you know, in a good way. I downed that small glass, and then proceeded to steal some of my wife's, sorry, not sorry. I'm making this drink my go-to from now on. Major props to the bartender, you're a genius. Only bummer, no free chips and salsa, what's up with that? The decor was on point, bright, festive, the whole shebang, and our waitress was awesome, wish I'd caught her name. All in all, Coyote Joe's is a must try, and don't even think about leaving without ordering the Buffalo Milk.
Just awesome food, wonderful staff and cold drinks.
Thank you for the amazing tacos.
Tons of food options at a fair price! Portions are large, so share an entree if you're not that hungry.
Good Mexican food.
We went here for their all you can eat from 3pm-5. We had nachos, tacos, hamburgers and quezadilla, $20 per person, great deal and food was great. Service was excellent.
The most watered down margarita I think I've ever had. Just horrible. Food did not make up for the bad drink. Just bland and basic. So disappointed.
The best spicy aguachiles ever!!!!! And I have eaten many elsewhere. Bravo Cristian our server.
Super yummy. Great mexican food. Ceviche was on point. Too bad had to pay for chips and salsa. Fish taco was yummy and the salsa was fire. Chicken taquito was ok but a little dry. Rice, beans salsa, quac and sour cream came on the plate. We got tossed with a pitcher of Pacifico, a pitcher of Margarita and a pitcher of Blue moon. Then, for desert, I had a Buffalo milk. Yee haw we were 3 sheets to the wind and thankfully a car was nowhere in sight. what a wonderful time.
We were excited to see the great vegan options on their menu, but it turned out they were out of both soyrizo and impossible burger...so there was very little to choose from. Also had to send back the refried beans that came out with melted cheese over the top. They did replace the beans, but it was a disappointing experience. And over-priced.

The food was cold and while most of the staff was authentically Spanish, the food tasted like Frozen food. The salsa was horrible and I was the only person sitting on the patio. I waited 15 minutes for a server and then another 25 minutes for my food which was ice cold.

One of the few places that is actually open during the holidays in the island. If everything else is closed, don’t waste time and just come here. Try the Belgian white; it’s awesome!
