Fun place to hang out with a lot of activities. A bar A big ground where a wedding was taking place. Clean rest rooms loungers Clean beach and a lot of people enjoying voters in serenity. Also a deer happened to come and became another attraction. Will reach it late and still enjoyed all the facilities at this magnificent club. A great place to be in Vince, you're never on. It's a little ahead of the tuna club. Number hundred, and both the walk on.This island for the scenic beauty.

My wife and best friend spent about $200 for two (2) chairs at the beach and received terrible service! They said a total waste of money. They were not told about the free waters and no one attended to them so after about an hour they had to walk over to the restaurant and order food and drinks for themselves. The staff apologized to them with an attitude! A really bad attitude! Really? Wow! You don’t do your JOB and YOU have an ATTITUDE? They are normally 25% tippers but only gave 10%. Please do not charge $100 for a beach chair and offer full service if you don’t provide it! I worked for 5 years at an All Inclusive, so I know what good service means. I honestly want my money back! BTW - my wife is disabled!

You have to book the cabana and chair a week an advance. Strawberry sunset feels like nonalcoholic mocktail. Don’t think they put enough alcohol. Ask them to do it in front of you.

Fake euro summer. This beach club rivals some of the beach clubs I’ve been to in the French Riviera. The service is awesome and friendly, the chaises are pretty big and the water is beautiful. They even have the rocky beaches like in Europe 😂 the public beach gets packed so it’s nice to have your own space and the option of shade under your own umbrella. The chairs are pretty well spaced out as well. The one difference between this beach club and European ones is the obnoxious music the DJ plays when she comes out at 1pm. Somehow he fits 3 songs into 1 min. I would choose any random wedding DJ over this guy. If you get to the beach club when they open at 10am, you’ll have a few hours of serenity and very few beachgoers. Oh the food and drinks are good too and very reasonably priced. Just go! It’s worth it

Great time chilling on the beach. Was easy booking ahead, had friendly service that gave great recommendations, best Buffalo Milk drink.
Almost felt like a White Lotus episode when you people-watch. And the nap on the chair was everything I hoped for, especially since it was quieter on a Friday late morning and afternoon. Stayed from 11-3 to make the most of our reservation. We had the nachos and burger- both pretty good!

This private beach club on Catalina Island is amazing. The food, service and atmosphere are top notch. Reserve your chairs or cabana in advance and plan to spend the day in paradise.
Discanso Beach Club exceeded all expectations! The cocktails were absolutely fantastic—especially the coconut margarita, which was easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The live band was phenomenal and had everyone on their feet. You could tell the crowd was just as impressed as we were.
We also tried the nachos and they did not disappoint—delicious and generously portioned. The service was top-notch from start to finish. The staff was super helpful, attentive, and everything came out quickly. Plus, the entire place was spotless, which added to the relaxing vibe.
Highly recommend spending the day here if you’re on Catalina Island.

Remember not to let them dupe you paying for beach access - it is illegal to restrict access to beaches in California below the mean high tide line. This beach used to be great, but now all the classic catalina charm is gone for an expensive and generic experience. My family has been going to descanso beach since the mid 80s, it’s been sad to watch them slowly rope off parts of the beach for $170 lounges and practically $800 for cabanas.

I expected more from this place...a bit disappointed. Expensive dining, limited resting areas and not equipped for tourists with kids. The zip line is the main attraction and it is worth every penny. Check the guide lines before purchasing your tickets.
