Fish n chips were pretty good, spinach and artichoke dip was Delicious, firecracker shrimp were ok, and the grilled fish tacos were very good. Nothing to write home about, but wasn’t bad and filled us up for lunch. Service was ok.

Iv been coming to the island my whole life and El Galleon was always just a rowdy bar that served fried food that sat out too long. It was fun in my 20s, but I’d never get food there. That was until a few years ago when they completely remodeled the restaurant and menu. Now my family gets dinner there at least twice when we come for the week. The food is terrific, the drinks are delicious and the staff could not be more polite and attentive. For dinner I almost always get the prime rib, which is one of the best steaks on the island, and if we come in for lunch I get either chicken wings or their fire cracker shrimp.

Giving it 5 stars because it’s the best meal we have had out of 5 on the island. And best margaritas! Made properly with lime juice and not sour mix. My “skinny” one was truly without sugar. Excellent just like in Mexico. Also had a delicious very fresh swordfish sandwich. Simple but good. Decent fries. Homemade coleslaw was a bit over dressed but appreciated the freshness. Husband enjoyed his Asian chicken salad. Great views & ocean breeze. Overall pleasantly surprised by our lunch here. Better than the disappointing lunch at the Lobster yesterday and at least on par with dinner at Bluewater Grill.

Ordered the Prime Rib Sandwhich with fries 25.5$ very great tasting sandwhich the sourdough was toasted and buttered nicely. The meat was also delicious with the Au Jus dipping sauce. Also ordered a side of spinach & artichoke dip this was a greater starter for 16$. Service and food were excellent I would definitely come back again.

Your typical tourist trap restaurant. Food was ok, but expensive. The worst part of this experience was how they charged us for water without informing us. Upon getting seated, we are offered water - your standard restaurant task. However, It was $1.50/water. Ridiculous! We asked the waiter why we were charged for regular water and his excuse is "water isn't safe to drink on Catalina so you have to get bottled water." Dishonesty and thievery. Do not recommend this place

Mostly average american type of food like burgers and fries. They have fresh seasonal fish, this time was swordfish, I liked it. A bit plain but good. The lobster tail was chewy not worth it. And octopus was the worst you could taste it’s frozen and not cooked right. Service was great and good location. Cajun shrimp was the best!

I was charged by male member of you bar staff double for my margarita 15.95 us dollars, in your other bar the same drink is 8 us dollars reciept to prove,I will not be using your bar again and when I get back to England the whole country will no you run a bar with thrives as bar staff.good luck in your future business.

A nice restaurant, great food and friendly/helpful staff, the Tequila and beers were great too. The bar and decor of the restaurant is cool too. Bathrooms are upstairs so be mindful of that
