got the Norwegian salmon and was thoroughly disappointed. that was a solid 4 brussel sprouts and unseasoned, borderline raw salmon. not worth it for the price. for a restaurant on an island, you'd think they have better fish

It was our first visit to Catalina Island and we were told to give El Galleon a try. Good food with a view of the boardwalk . Thank you Angelica for making our visit a great one.

We made a reservation. Picks up in pace around 12:00pm.
But we got started on the wrong foot.
Happy Hour food Menu was not honored at a table. (Restrictions not displayed on the website - we were told upon asking for the menu after sitting down) (if I missed it somewhere as of August 7th 2025, please let me know)
Server said she could bring us happy hour priced beverages. Luckily this was honored. Thank You.
Everything fried was great. Cod, scallops, shrimp, zucchini, onions.
Busboys were in top of it. Clearing plates as we went along. Thanks guys.
Fetucinni was a medium sized portion but definitely needs about a 1/4th portion more. To make it worth the 28 dollars it’s going to cost.
Burgers looked worth it.
Salads were good.

Reasonable price, great service for takeaway. Steak was unseasoned and garlic mash potatos had no garlic or flavoring. Possible poor quality being from them switching to karoke time.

Restaurant has two floors, easily accommodated 7 people. Have a great selection of food and drinks. We went for lunch and had a great meal and time. Highly recommend

The food was good and the service was great. My food got cold quick but it was because the ceiling fans were on so be sire to eat quick or you’ll eat cold!

This has become a goto for us on the island. The menu has a decent selection of americana food for most people. Arrive on the early side for dinner and there is no wait and the food gets brought out fast.

Within an hour of arriving to the Island, we decided to try the happy hour here. We ordered the onion rings and zucchini, a beer and a mixed drink. Female server ask if we were ordering from the Happy Hour menu. We said, Yes. When the bill came we had been charged for 2 separate appetizers $16. As seen on the happy hour menu, the order shows as a half onion rings and half order of zucchini for $8. Here's a picture of both menus, you make the call. Felt a little on the bamboozled side, kinda like a bad fishing trip. LoL. We will not be returning.

Don't come here for karaoke the dj will skip you in line and ask you to pay him money under the table. So if you pay him more he will move you up the line and skip people who are waiting and wrote there name on the list he is a hustler and takes money without the owner knowing. He told us this guy paid him $600 for them to cut us in line and if we paid him money he will let us go next. So he takes money from the club.I'm speaking to the owner because hustling is not okay plus they probably don't even know he's making money on the low at there facility.
