It is our first visit to Catalina Is. We were given a few recommendations of good restaurants by a sheriff deputy and decided to go Mexican. We had a wonderful server and the food was excellent. We had Shrimp Burrito and of course chips with salsa. This is one of the best authentic Mexican restaurants we have ever been. Great food and excellent service. I highly recommend it and definitely would like to go back again.

Pretty good food, but disappointing service. It was hard to get someone to take our order, get utensils, get water, and get the check.

Fantastic spot for dinner! The swordfish and octopus were incredibly delicious. The only critique was that the guacamole needed a touch more salt, but overall, it was a satisfying dining experience.

Rice is terrible tasted like it was made with dirty water. Fajitas were not sizzling , tasted like stir fry, tacos were covered in sauce making them wet, queso fundido had ricotta cheese, who does that for a Mexican appetizer? Tortillas tasted store bought and beans were out of can. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL.

I would come back to Catalina just to have their lobster enchiladas ? Fun margaritas and the corn & crab empanadas are also a must try.

We enjoyed a nice lunch here! Service was very friendly! Food was really good but it was a bit more spendy for lunch than we'd normally do. But, taking into account that this is an island and getting food over here is more of a process than mainland restaurants. This makes the priceing seem on point. The salsas were yummy! The margaritas were good, we didnt splurge for their award-winning marg, but maybe I will try that next time!I had a lobster taco. I don't think, I'd order it again however it was an interesting flavor combo! My husband got a special that was so delicious! My son got fish and chips! Everything seemed fresh! The dining area was a fun environment! We will be back when we visit Catalina next time!

Bad place. Extremely rude general manager. She needs to be fired, she does not know how to work with guests. On top of that, mediocre Mexican food and way over priced.

Bad service from the manager!. The electricity went out as we were getting ready to pay and the general manager was exceptionally rude! As I was trying to pay she made it a very hostil experience as I would have liked to zelle the worker before I almost missed my boat. The food was okay but expensive.

Looked for where to eat first on our food tour and decided on here. The Crab and corn empanadas were YUMMY. And the chips and salsa- so good!!! They make it all in house and it tasted so fresh.
