The food is ok but the customer service is 1/5, one guy straight up ignored me as I stood in the front, was very short and unfriendly with me when I ordered, however when two white people ordered in front of me he was very friendly and social with them. A different guy ignored me when my food was ready, he had in AirPods and straight up took the buzzer and walked away when I tried to talk to him about my order. However one guy did have good service and came to my table and asked if I needed anything and gave friendly energy. First guy seemed a little racist and the second guy just didn’t seem to care about his job, or was just having a bad day. Either or, I’m here on vacation and this experience left a shitty feeling for me.

This place has managed to serve you fish and chips WITHOUT a SINGLE drop of oil on the paper plates it is served on. The BEST fish and chips I've ever had. Gordan Ramsey should take note this is how it's done! The people who work always greeted us with a smile. They are super kind, knowledgeable, and awesome to be around. A hidden gem on the island. Highly recommend!
Update: Came back end of March 2023 and it's still phenomenal! Sushi was so fresh and flavorful. We were so impressed with everything about this place we had to get some merch.
Update: Still a must-go-must-taste kind of place in February 2026. Fantastic to see the same friendly faces still here. Oysters super fresh, mani mahi and sea bass fish and chips delicious, poke bowl on par. Can’t go wrong

Came in Feb 15th at 7pm. Tables were quite sticky & didn’t seem super clean. I ate two sides of white rice ONLY. At 2am I got super bad food poisoning… NOT a way you want to spend your vacation in Catalina. I would definitely avoid this place

This place is a hidden gem. Large d back and charming! You can taste how fresh the fish is. The fish snd chips was melt in your mouth yummy. The sushi was fresh and perfect! We have to come back to Catalina just to go back! They had surfing playing on the tv which was fitting!

Okay place for seafood, though not amazing. The bread on my lobster roll was too stiff and the lobster itself wasn't tender enough. The fries were decent. I liked their shrimp burrito. The fish and chips was okay... but the pieces of fish served were much smaller than I was expecting.
The waitlist management is a total disaster. We waited for 1 hour to get seated even when there were open tables. Some one arrived later than us but got in first somehow.
The service is also the worst I've ever experience. Waited extra long time before we can order any food, and then it's another half hour wait for the food to be served.
I do not recommend here. They apparently are lack of hands.
Food is not worth the wait & price. Ordered fish and fries for 23 dollars and it turns out only 3 nugget size fish + a giant bowl of fries.
Table is sticky and we saw flies flying around. Dead flies next to the window.

Came in after a long day Saturday night, long wait, staff seemed very unorganized, food terrible, never get the lobster bisque (very salty nacho cheese that was served cold). Waited way too long for a few sushi rolls. Am thankful though for the miso soup they gave us instead of the lobster bisque and a 40% off for the wait. Do not recommend.

We waited around 45 minutes for a table outside in the cold with a little kid.
My husband ordered miso soup as an appetizer, my son ordered grilled chicken with rice, and I ordered a sushi roll. After about 30 minutes of waiting at the table, my son finally received his food and it was fine. My husband ended up canceling the miso soup since it never came out and ordered a hamburger instead, thinking it would be faster. After waiting even longer, the hamburger was finally served and it was very bad. (I do not recommend ordering hamburgers at this restaurant)
In the end, they finished eating and my sushi never arrived, even after waiting over an hour, in addition to the 45 minutes we had already waited outside.
To our surprise, as we were leaving (completely hopeless after a miserable dinner) other customers were also walking out and telling the people waiting outside that it wasn’t worth the wait.

We absolutely loved the food! We had the scallops as an appetizer and sushi rolls as our meal. Super fresh fish (that they catch) and it was so good! Definitely recommend if you love fresh seafood! If you are going for dinner, get there early! Daniel was our server and he was amazing! I also have a gluten allergy and they were very accommodating!
