Lovely little diner and great service, but the food was not good.
OJ was watered down
Hollandaise sauce for Benedict was watered down
Onions were not well cooked.
The sausage was the highlight of the breakfast.
Maybe they are just not a breakfast joint.

The hash browns are so burnt they are like eating dry cereal the sausage is completely burnt. It's almost not edible. And the waiter was shaking his head walking to the kitchen. Because we asked for food that wasn't burnt to a crisp. I wouldn't let a dog eat this terrible food and the service matches the quality of food which is terrible.

Nice spot. Food was good, service was great, and the vibe was old school.

Hidden gem. The BEST biscuits and gravy I've ever had. The food and service was excellent. Great prices. Can't wait to go back.

Pancakes are a little tough. Other than that everything was okay.

Decent small town option
We had breakfast twice while we were on Catalina Island. Had a great experience both times. The service was fast and friendly. The food was good and the portions were very generous. Excellent coffee. They claim to serve Kona coffee and I believe it. Prices were reasonable for Catalina Island. My only complaint was that my over medium eggs were undercooked. I would definitely go back.
Meh. Crepes were good. Hash browns looked like breakfast potatoes smashed down into a patty and didn't taste good. Eggs had a similar funky taste.

Way too expensive for what you get.. its just traditional breakfast. $75 for two is kinda crazy imo for a basic breakfast and coffee. Seating is odd, you are sat next to other diners you don't know at the same table. Wouldn't recommend or return.

I was really looking forward to trying this place, but it turned out to be a big letdown. The food tasted bad and didn’t seem freshly prepared. It’s disappointing to pay so much for a meal that wasn’t enjoyable. Definitely my worst dining experience lately. I will never come back here ever again.

Food is super expensive for the amount you receive. Fruit was old and hard. Pancake tasted horrible. I never plan to return here.

Great food, excellent and speedy service, and a fun family atmosphere. Loved the French toast Hawaiian combo (featuring Portuguese French toast with macadamia nuts and sausage). Delicious Kona coffee!!
