We were in Avalon on Catalina Island in California to attend the Catalina Island Jazz Trax Festival.

We noticed that the old restaurant that we used to go to was no longer there. There was a new restaurant named “Pier 24” now there.We decided to have dinner at the new restaurant. It was 6 of us. James, who greeted us at the door, offered us a small private room with a great ocean view. The little room was fantastic.

I had the pleasure of talking to the host, James yesterday afternoon as I was looking to scope out a place for dinner. He suggested to take a picture of the menu to help me decide later. I did indeed return for dinner and was running behind my schedule and was in a hurry.
