Really nice and enjoyable place to eat. Atmosphere is classy, but doesn't require you to dress up. Service is the best I've experienced anywhere. Menu selection is very nice as is wine and cocktails.

The chicken entree looked like a grilled chicken out of the US Army DFAC (dining facility). The Kalamari was also gross. This must be a Catalina tourist trap, avoid!

Got the chicken plate and my husband and I both were sick after. My friends prime rib was chewy.

Johnny Q was our server. We ordered the steak. He was soooo inviting. He called us Texas. The atmosphere was nice and romantic or could just be comforting. We planned on returning but got sidetracked. We seen Johnny a few days later and he said "Hey Texas" Funny he remembered us. We enjoyed every bit of our stay.

OMG! We will definitely be back to Steve’s! We celebrated my birthday there yesterday and everything was perfect! Our Waiter Johnny treated me like a queen and made us feel like we were family. The whole atmosphere was amazing! Thank you Johnny and all the staff. See you next time we visit Catalina.

Went here for our wedding anniversary. Was gifted a gift card and truly was looking forward to it ( it was 2nd visit in last 4 years). I can say it was just ok, disappointed.
My steak was fatty, I got maybe 4 bites for a $46 steak. My husband’s was better however.
No free bread they charge $5 for that now.
I addressed my disappointment with staff, they gave us a dessert. That is not my idea of directing a bad experience. It’s too competitive and expense e to have an experience like this. Especially for a special occasion. Not sure I’d go there again.
Waiter was nice and did a good job.
View was great. Food, not so much.

Great dining experience. We were given the option to have dinner on the beach ( $5.00 fee). We'll worth it for the view. Ordered the Duck cigars ( duck cooked inside fried wonton with a plum sauce, delicious). Dinner was the ribeye steak with rice pilaf. My wife had the scallops with a bake potato. We were both extremely happy with our food, the staff, and our overall dining experience. Highly recommend them.

Pasta special was pricey for me to have to take the tails and veins off my own shrimp and take the meat out of my own clams and muscles. Plate hadn't even been cleaned and there was sauce splashed all over the edges. Not worth the price even a little

Never had anything less than a great meal there, 5 trips from Alabama. This go Alaskan King Crab legs were perfect.
Eating al fresco on the beach was so lovely. Everyone enjoyed their dinner. Mine was the shrimp on sourdough ( should have shared).Ask for Maya, she was tops, and did it all while playing photographer for all the tables. Great clean bathroom but upstairs.

Came here for my anniversary with my wife and 2 little ones. BEWARE when going here and be careful on the steps!!!
This restaurant is on the second floor of a hotel.
The host there is a child (maybe 15 years old). I ended up getting my leg CUT OPEN by a STEAK KNIFE that fell off the tray because the host knocked into the waiter coming down the steps and the knife slit my leg open. Freak accident but a true story.
The service was great - the food is OK - (you pay for bread) but the only steak house in the area - which sucked but whatever. Coming from a PREVIOUS restaurant owner when you have tabs that are $150++++ - the least you can do is give out bread!
The hospitality and leadership of this business needs serious restructuring. The owner comped only "my meal" after eating there 3 nights in a row!!! After he said I'll take care of the bill. Who knows if the knife was dirty or not!! Took no incident report, didn't ask for my information to follow up with me to see if all is ok and to top it off - only gave me a band aid and wet towel. Was no where to be found either when I left. Make your choices wisely and beware to stay away from the host!!! especially when waiters are going up and down the steps with trays of food!
