Fun place and the food was great. I don't like seafood (my wife does which is how we ended up here). I usually don't expect much when I order non-seafood at a seafood restaurant, expecting it to be more of an afterthought. I ordered the carnitas burrito with veggies and it was seriously good! I really enjoyed it and my wife loved her macadamia crusted something or another ;)
A fun and lively restaurant with many fishing theme decorations. We walked in without a reservation and got seated at the bar table. If you have a large group, reservation is highly recommended. The atmosphere and service was good but the food is a bit hit or miss. We ordered the shrimp ceviche, lobster roll, and seafood pasta. Still The Lobster Trap after many blue moons. However the interior has been extended massively, with more seating, remodelled kitchen and refurbishment.
