This is a nice neighborhood market that also serves food and coffee with a nice fireplace and seating area. We had Americanos from the coffee bar, and my wife had a gluten-free pizza and I had soup and a sandwich. Everything was very tasty. Nice little place to have a meal.
New owners have been doing amazing, the food has stepped up massively and the vibe is awesome, definitely worth checking out for the first time or again if you haven’t since the new owners!
My partner and I stopped here for brunch as we walked along the Bob Jones Trail. The food selection was better than expected, as they added more options to the breakfast menu, and there were several gluten-free choices. They are also well-stocked with local artisan food products/desserts. The staff is incredibly friendly, personable, and attentive. It's a beautiful space as well with a nice, relaxed atmosphere. However, I had to lower my overall rating because the state of the women's bathroom was just abysmal- it looked like it had been days since it was cleaned, and none of the stalls had toilet paper. To their credit, one of the staff quickly jumped in to restock after I asked. But still, I don't think the restroom being that dirty is justified, considering the restaurant wasn't particularly busy.
Overpriced tasteless ahi tacos. Very meh fish and chips. 30 minute wait. Not worth it
We were lucky enough to find this place while we were staying at the Cliffs Hotel 10 minutes down the road. From the service, to the quality, and the overall atmosphere of this gem of a Market/Restaurant we truly can’t be more impressed! We ended up coming 3 days in a row while visiting San Luis Obispo. I truly have not found one thing to complain about.

Delish tuna melt. Friendly servers. Beautiful patio seating. Conveniently right off the bike trail.
On the way back from hiking trail that’s beside this place. We decided to get a breakfast. Our hotel has great croissants I was in a mood for some eggs and a proper breakfast. My wife had the yogurt with granola fruit and I had a three egg omelette. Both were amazing. Very pet friendly and excellent decor well worth the stop. The service and staff were fantastic as well.
A hidden gem in Avila Beach. Whether you're looking to grab a quick breakfast before venting on the Bob Jones trial or looking to recuperate with refreshments, lunch, snacks, drinks. Even a wine bar. The tri-tip sandwich took the spot for best of the best. Warm friendly staff happy to help and serve up wonderful treats. Baked goods and nice selection of grill items. Wonderful setting tucked in the groove of Avila, really nice venue outside seating as well.
New owners. Great new vibe. New additions to menus. New cappuccino machine. Friendly service
Great local spot. They recently reconfigured the inside, adding more seating and dining space. Great service and a happy atmosphere. We ordered a (custom made) sandwich and it was generous enough to split. If you don't love mayo, you might ask for light/less. Everyone seemed happy with their food choices and most walked away with to-go boxes (good portions). We will be back to further explore the menu.

Great food, friendly service, idyllic location. Recommend the Tri-tip sandwiches.
Food is bland and way overpriced. Everything in the store is overpriced. $2.50 for a can of coca-cola? $3 for a cookie? The cookie was good but again $3 for one small cookie!?
Bill, the clarinet player, topped off our outdoor dining experience.
Great hidden gem. This place is top-notch. We make a point to stop here every morning breakfast when we are in Avila Beach. We highly recommend the avocado toast (amazing!), home-made everything bagels and fresh baked pastries! (Under new ownership. Ignore the old bad reviews before April 2024.)
This morning, I enjoyed a delicious Avocado Caprese Toast at this delightful neighborhood market. My family also ordered their homemade Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese and scrambled eggs cooked to order. Everything was made to perfection and with TLC. I would highly recommend this market for a wholesome breakfast or a casual lunch. They are probably the best breakfast spot in Avila Beach.
