This is a really awesome cafe! They have great food options. It's snacky type food but the avocado toast I got was so so good and so were the churros. I also really liked my coffee. The server was really friendly and there was decent seating with a cute vibe. A nice place to chill. Parking is street parking.

Had an absolutely delicious Pistachio Latte here! The place is lovely, cozy and colorful vibes. My friend and I sat on the couches by the fireplace and the guy started the fireplace up for us so it was a really nice time sharing coffee with a friend by the fire while watching the rain outside too. Would definitely come here again!

Super delicious coffee and churros!! The bathrooms were very clean and the coffee/ churros came out in a timely manner. 10/10 would recommend if you’re looking for a nice spot to chill out and have good food!

I've always got my churros from sporting events or street fairs so you can imagine I was pretty ecstatic to find out I could get churros from a dedicated 'Churreria' like Azucanela Churreria in Azusa. I never ventured into a churreria before and let me tell you, it's going to make me a full-blown churro-maniac! If there was such thing as a churro heaven, it's nestled right here.My friends and I came here on a cloudy day and what was perfect was pairing a warm latte with our spread of churros. I got a Latte Tradicional with oat milk and my friend got a Strawberry Horchata since she's fun like that. Both had a perfect texture of velvety goodness and took churro drink pairings to a whole other level for me. We got 3 churro variations: The Churro Bites with cajeta (Mexican caramel), Churro Frambuesa (with raspberry dipping sauce), and the Churro Sundae to share. All churro items were decadent and a party in your mouth. Churros were perfect as expected, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. It's the kind of sweetness dreams are made of.The ambiance at Azucanela is as sweet as their treats, with friendly staff who are so nice. Looking around, you can study and work on your next novel, or bring your family and friends for a fun time. Whether you're on a solo mission for sugary delights or sharing the joy with friends, Azucanela Churreria is a must-visit. Treat yourself and indulge in the sweetness! DELICIOUS DRINKS & DESSERTS! Cafe-style bites: eggs on toast with avocado and Pico de gallo! Horchata Iced coffee was terrific!! If Google can rate more than five stars ? I would give a billion more to Azucanela! Thank you for making amazing treats!! I recommend this cafe to everyone who needs an extra sugar boost on your long road trip on Route 66! Ever since I tried the pistachio drink at mas cafecito I really wanted to find a coffee version and I found it here at azucanela!After a couple failed attempts at trying to make their Hawthorne shop, I found out recently about their Azusa location yay!It was very delicious and strong coffee, and I ordered a Mexican avocado toast as a snack since I needed some food as well. There was only one lady working when I dropped by around 3pm and there was a party of 4 ahead of me so I had to wait around 15-20 mins but I didn't mind. The toast was delicious(my only gripe was that the avocado was hard and not super ripe, wonder if it comes that way or it was an accident) Very friendly service and atmosphere. Love their decor and signage.
