I had a large event with 160 guests and chose Bashful Butler to cater this event.Ben at Bashful Butler was a dream to work with and made certain my event was serviced professionally.I chose Teriyaki chicken with rice and three salad sides and vegetable with fresh biscuits. The chicken was tender and delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly and the side dishes were fresh.Out of 160 people I never received any complaints about the food. Everyone raved repeatedly about how tasty and tender the Teriyaki chicken was.Bashful Butler hit a homerun!!! They contributed greatly to the success of my event. I am very thankful.Their server, Robert, helped and assisted me in every way. It could have been stressful if my caterer hadn't been Robert, Ben and Bashful Butler.I had a great experience with Bashful Butler and I highly recommend them.I have more events coming up and I intend on using Bashful Butler whenever possible. We had our event this past week. The communication was great and Donna is very helpful and nice. However when we had our event I paid for 130 people and only about 100 guests showed up. There was not enough food and pasta was cold and stuck together. I asked the staff where the food was and they stated there was no more left. The food tasted great but I was disappointed in the way in the service the day of the event.

We had our ??th class reunion at Hurst Ranch last night, and Bashful Butler provided a great spread! Because they're the preferred caterer for the Ranch, they know their way around so we were confident there would be no problems. The food was excellent! Served buffet style, there was great variety and everything was fresh, seasoned to perfection, and the hot foods were hot and the cold foods were cold. (I'm a little persnickety about such things.) The staff moved about the room stealthily clearing dishes and ensuring folks were happy. All of the 144 in attendance seemed happy and certainly well fed, which led to a joyful reunion of lifelong friends. Thanks, Bashful Butler!

Attended a wedding at Hurst Ranch. Help my friend with decorating .Wasnt too impressed at first but....when i returned for the reception....wow! Everything was perfect. Staff was professional and on top of everything. I ended up booking Hurst Ranch for my daughters sweet 16.

Bashful Butler was responsive and helpful along every step of the way.They were upfront about the services, fees, available materials (linens, decor, tables, chairs), and setup options.The venue options were great for what we were looking for. We were able to view the venues that Bashful Butler has contracts with and we were able to have taste tests of the food prior to selecting our buffet meal. The price of food, service, and venue were within our budget. Seemingly affordable for our 100 guests wedding ceremony and reception compared to other companies. The vendors that are recommended by Bashful Butler were also great and booking them to add to the look and decor of the venue made the reception hall even more beautiful.My guests LOVED LOVED LOVED the food. Mashed potatoes is the way to go! The only sad thing was the food stays on the property. There’s no “to-go” or “left overs” so eat up! Of course, this was also shared up front prior to booking and we decided it was okay, they mentioned the left overs were provided to shelters. Something about a California Law and them not being classified as a restaurant. This could be a deal breaker for some, but if it’s not, eat up at the reception!For this particular venue, Azusa Woman’s Club, the chairs for the reception hall are basic conference/ballroom chairs. Metal legs with blue cushions. I researched and purchased chair covers and ribbon sashes from a closing business in order to decorate to my liking the reception hall. You may be interested in renting chairs or finding chair covers like these if your tastes don’t include blue chair cushions. If interested, I’ll sell mine.And the day of, there was a team lead for the food, who personally loaded up the bride and groom plates and served it to them. What a lovely touch so the rest of the guests and personal wedding planner could continue with the very busy reception.I’m so happy with Bashful Butler.

The food was absolutely amazIng!! We celebrated our daughters 18 th birthday catered by Bashful Butler, I was looking for reviews and getting antsy as I couldn't find much except 'food was good. We had the Lemon herb chicken and roast beef' it was so delicious, we had numerous compliments from our guests about the food. The staff was very professional and very helpful. They were perfect. Everybody had a great time and the food was to die for! I would hire them over again highly highly recommended.

We had the Azusa High School class of 1960 60th Class reunion last night that Bashful Butler Catering handled for us. All I can say is WOW, DOUBLE WOW!. Everything from helping us decide on how to decorate, what the buffet would be and putting me in touch with a DJ and others, I couldn't have asked from more. All attendees said the entire evening was EPIC! Best buffet food ever, and the servers were extra attentive to our every request and need. Thankyou Ben, and Donna and her staff.
