Bungalow is an underrated spot! The server was sweet when taking our order and seemed to be the only person working the front. When we sat down, the server was kind and brought our drinks to our table. After that, the server brought our food and checked in on us as we ate, which was an A+ for service!

Been coming to this place after being introduced by our high school daughter. Our whole family is addicted to their yummy and flavorful fruit smoothie boba. Our favorite is the strawberry peach smoothie with boba. Thank you Cafe Bungalow for making our almost daily treat. The ambiance is clean and modern. The staff are friendly and respectful, they even accommodate my daughter's starbucks chai latte order with sea salt caramel syrup. My daughter loves it!

I was so excited for this place because I love going to one in Alhambra! The decor was really nice and the customer service was great! What was lacking was the food quality. It did not compare to the Alhambra location. The popcorn chicken was lacking in seasoning and the macaroni salad was oddly sweet. The rice was also sweet too. I'm not sure if the chef is heavy handed with sugar? They could reach out to the Alhambra location from some tips and tricks to improve their food quality. I hope the food quality does improve because this is closer to me than Alhambra!

I've been coming here for the last 2 years. I happened to google boba in the Azusa area and decided to give this place a shot with a few friends. Lulu is the best! She is the nicest and the drinks as well as food are exceptional. Definitely recommend!

My bestie come here so much that the owner remembers her haha I got to go back to recently after many years when my bff first introduced it to me and their food, ambiance, and vibe are still just as amazing as I remembered it. We got: 1) Popcorn chicken rice with curry- always so yummy 2) Beef Donburi- delicious, but not much beef and the portion is kind of small 3) Drinks- Wintermelon Milk Tea, Rose and Strawberry Yogurt Teas are always refreshing and yum 4) They also got Oreo muffins in the front by the cash register

I and my family love this place. The savory snack is what I usually order. Their boba drinks are good too. They provide a welcoming space for young people to study and hangout.

I'm so glad to have Cafe Bungalow be near my work place! More excuses for me to grab boba and snacks whenever I need a pick-me-up. My usual go-to order is the Popcorn Chicken (extra spicy), Fried Tofu (extra spicy), and 50% sweet White Peach Oolong. Both fried items are always crispy and flavorful. Individually, the portion size is good for an afternoon snack, or even a meal if you order both (like I do haha). For the White Peach Oolong, at 50% sweet is perfect for me without it being too sweet. Sometimes I'll order it with the sea salt foam depending on my mood. Overall, a really solid spot for boba and a snack and/or meal, and the space is great for people who want to go out and study. Service is also always friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend going!

Great variety of beverages and food items. Love the Thai Milk Tea with Boba and sesame balls. Great customer service. Plenty of tables to eat inside in a nice relaxing environment.

I've gone here often to get things to-go. They always have pretty good boba drinks, nothing too much to complain about. Service is generally exceptional. However, sitting towards the back, I was getting intermittent waves of cigarette smoke filling the air. It almost felt like I was in an old casino. This was not coming from the outside (door was closed) nor anyone sketchy in the restrooms (they were empty), my only assumption leads to the back kitchen. Other than this recent experience, I'de normally rate this place at 4 stars.

Had to downgrade my reciew: the rice is consistently terrible and drinks have been subpar lately. I've been a regular visitor due to the location being close to work, so I've taken my coworkers a few times but every time the rice is extremely undercooked or underwatered, it's hard and nor good. I've even asked for fresher rice on occasion but it didn't seem to do much. Additionally, it really sucks when you recommend a place to coworkers or friends but turns out to be pretty terrible cus of the rice. Another note, drinks have not been that great lately, I've been going to bobapop tea bar for my boba fix and it's miles better. Also, the prices you pay per food portion is pretty abysmal, not worth it. Popcorn chicken is probably one of their better items, so come during happy hour for 8$ popcorn chicken and drink.

Swung by cafe bungalow on the way out for a day trip and couldn't have picked a better place. The price was really good for the amount of food you got and it came with a free tea as well. The plating is pretty no frills, but when you can get a rice plate for sub $10 in this area, who's complaining.

Easy yummy lunch! Their popcorn chicken was delicious and just the right amount of heat (I got medium spicy). The curry on the side was a superb touch. The tea was also good. The woman who worked there was really friendly and attentive so great service. The only thing I wish was different was the dressing on the salad (a bit too much/saucy and sweet for my liking). Next time I’d probably tell her no dressing but I’d definitely go back! Good experience
