I didn't go to the store but the surroundings are beautiful, walking along the river bank, the picnic area that is a little higher up...pure peace and absolutely free, just remember to buy your pass for the authorized parking lots beforehand. The parks in California cost 5 dollars at any 7eleven.
very friendly Management and I met a whole family and spent the morning and nights with them.... nice creek three steps from the camping spot to cool off. very accommodating the staff are at this campground.... just wish firepits were allowed..... but unfortunately not due to the dry vegetation!!!!

Parking: The cafe has a few parking spots but when it's busy it can be hard to get that parking but you can always get a parking pass and attempt to find parking on the sides of the road..
