Congregation Brewery & Cocina - Azusa

Fantastic place if you're looking to pay ridiculously high prices for mediocre food. Tried the sampler, pizza, and chicken with all of it being just adequate, with the exception of the fries and macaroni bowls (both of which were legitimately the blandest tasting food I have tasted in recent memory). Good thing the burgers are only $20+, otherwise I'd be upset!

I’m 60 and it was alittle loud, but on a Sunday for football it’s understandable if you’re out on a Friday or Saturday night at a place that’s loud that’s to be expected. The staff here is cool down to earth, respectful and they listen.

Good vibe and delicious food.
This bar and restaurant is located in a beautiful, red brick building. It has open street view seats and other comfortable table seats. It is not very big inside, but there are 6 to 7 big screen TVs, making you feel like that you are in a sports bar. However, it was not loud with the sports bar noise but rather comfortable rock and pop music. The whole vibe was fun and entertaining. The Mexican food that I ordered was authentic and delicious. Plus, even though the service was a little slow, but the bartender/ waiters were very friendly and helpful. I certainly will come back to this restaurant to try different kinds of foods.

Went in, get a couple of beers with my buddy sat down. Cop beers decided to order to pizzas. It took 10 minutes. Guy came back after he took our order and said we don't have Pizza OK, so then he took off proceeded to play on his phone in the back part of the restaurant.We flagged them over decided to order 2 quesadillas.You put in the order comes back another ten to fifteen minutes later and says we don't have any quesadillas so we finished our beers as the guy went to the back and played on his phone some more, not paying attention to anybody in the place this place sucks, I would avoid it.

I didn’t see a happy hour menu and $9 for a pint is a lil too much. (My opinion)

Bills aren't paid and can't support business who robs employees of their wage ss

Will never spend a dime here they don’t pay they’re employees nor do they pay their suppliers, and before they say I’m lying, I literally have contact with former employees who were never paid in full what they earned, and are owed.

I am not going here, is it true that the owners don’t pay back to the suppliers and are bring police to the protests in front of the restaurant?

Very slow service. Starters and food all came out together. Took a long time to get anything. Beer and food tasted good but didn’t make up for the service. There is street parking and if you go around the block there is a small lot in the back as well.

Stopped by for beers on the weekend. Place was strangely quiet, only one other group. Only beer menu was via QR code, and they didn't even have some of those. IDK what's going on, seems like it's going downhill. Didn't get food so can't comment.

We order our food 30 minutes later we found out they didn't place our order in the kitchen. We had to cancel and we got charged for the 2 drinks.

Miserable service. This place is dead 💀☠️

We only came here for brunch because the coffee shop across the street was out of pastries. I got the pancake combo, my husband got tacos, and it daughter got the fried chicken sandwich. We all enjoyed our food, but the service and vibe was off. It was still the morning and the music was very loud. Also, there was only one other table occupied, yet our server (who was pleasant) was hard to find. I was served my breakfast without any utensils, which I would have understood if we weren't one of only two tables there. Hmm.... so maybe not the best place for breakfast/brunch. The atmosphere was loud and lonely at the same time. The food was good, though. I don't know if I'll be back.
