Very upset. Apparently, they are only open certain days and certain time. I check the schedule, and came back a week later when they were supposed to be “open” and they were closed yet again for “spring break”! That’s not a serious business! Used to love this place as a kid, drove 30min to buy some and surprise the family with it and it’s closed. Bad business.

The place is a bit small for eat inside, they got few tables and chairs but good for little family or couples. This time i order for take away.I lobe their "Lunch special Combo" menu which is you may choice the ribs between beef or pork, then there's side dish : rice with gravy, french fries, mash potato with gravy and coleslaw. You can mix it for the side dish, sample my order have : 1 coleslaw + french fries, 1 rice with gravy + french fries, etc. You can choose what you love.I recommended the rice with gravy, the rice so soft with thr gravy makes you want more and more. The lunch packages includes 1 chicken already inside it.So if you order 1 Lunch special combo, it will consist : 1 chicken + 1 choice of ribs (pork or beef), and 2 kinds of side dish. And the price for Lunch special combo is $ 19.50 + tax 10.25%.Here i share the menu and price beside Lunch special combo :* BBQ Chicken combo $ 13.99 (which is you get 2 chicken inside it.* Beef/Pork Rib dinner $ 27.50 (which is you get 2 ribs of each beef or pork you choose)* Rib meal $ 27.50 (which is you get 4 bones of pork ribs 2 bones of beef ribs)* also have add on such as 1 chicken piece also the add on for side dish start from $ 3.75 -14.95.For my self this 1 box of lunch set, i could eat it for 2 times, cos its bit big for me.So lets go and try it!*

Wow.. Really dont get the great reviews… Perhaps, we are just really picky on BBQ Beef Ribs as travel USA looking for the best beef ribs! Well, the gravy potatoes and rice were awesome as will give em that. The corn wasnt soft and very salty. The beef ribs only covered 1/4 of the bone and was kinda tough. Not impressed with the BBQ sauce at all. Staff super friendly. Just not impressed as their ribs didnt make my favorite BBQ place. There wasnt even any smokey flavor to em ribs.

Time: Sunday, 12:30ish PMPlace: Love Chicken and RibsOrder: Rib Meal #5 w/ potatoes&gravy / rice&gravy Chicken Snack #7The Good... - Both ribs are fall off the bone and tender. Very beefy and pork tastes, very good. The BBQ sauce is grilled right into the meats pretty good, can't really explain the goodness of the melding BBQ sauce and meats. - Chicken is fallBBQ ChickenBBQ Chicken off the bone and tender. The sauce is citrusy and light. The Bad... - They're only deficit is the gravy. They should have done chunky gravy with cutting from the meats. And have two different gravy potatoes and rice. The Meh... - There's one thing I would like to know or possibly make it into the menu... BBQ sauce on the side. Diabetic friendly. - I can't tell because the BBQ sauce covers it is the moistness of the meats... Seems dry.The Conclusion... - I commend the owners for limiting the menu and focusing on making these wonderful dishes so quickly. - They have found a new fan customer.

Finally had a chance to stop by ( every time we've wanted to stop by it is a day they are closed) we ordered 2 lunch combos one with pork and one with beef ribs. Food took about 10 minutes to be ready & when it came out the meat on both was very tender. Now for the chicken it was okay, I don't enjoy the charred flavor and found it slightly dry. For sides we got coleslaw, fries, gravy rice & gravy mash. The fries were ok nothing crazy about them & the coleslaw was a bit bland.Definitely choose the rice & mash, they're flavorful and feel homey If you want more meat I would recommend the pork ribs!

The lunch special should be a dinner special because they pack so much, it's a super ridiculous deal for what you get! Ribs, chicken, and sides, yes please!Everything was fall off the bone and had a good smokey flavor to it. I'm salivating just writing this review. I got rice and gravy with it and coleslaw. Between this, Dog Haus, or Comgregation Ale House on the street, I would definitely come here hands down!

I came to this place not sure what to expect especially with canyon city down the road.I ordered the lunch special which is a little of everything. Let me preface by saying I don't consider this real smoked bbq. The beef ribs seem to be boiled and then finished on the grill. Some may be a snob but I thought it still had nice flavors. Although I would like a slow smoked beef rib a little more, I thought it was still well made. The chicken was similar, finished on the grill. The meat was very moist and held flavor. The best thing was the rice and gravy for what it was. Coleslaw lacked something.I wished they had fountain drinks here as everything is sold by the can, including water. The service was spot on.Place is small but clean.

Decided to go out of my comfort zone and try a new bbq rib place. We were debating on going to the BJ. chain but stumbled upon this place. Decided to take the chance and go. This place did not disappoint. The service was great! The restaurant is a bit small but that's fine with me. On a Saturday night during prime diner hour, there wasn't a wait for our food which is great! If we went to BJ or anywhere else, the wait would've been at least 40-1hour. The beef ribs was tendered and fall off the bone. The pork was flavorful and the sides were good as well. I would definitely go back.

I've been going to the original Country's Chicken and Ribs since 1999 and was very sad to see them close. I was ecstatic to see that someone was going to continue the business. The new shop is a bit smaller with limited seating, but is still big enough to seat a good amount. Based on what I've seen and the area that it's in, most people seem to opt for pick up. I've gone during various hours of the day and have never had an issue sitting down to have my meal.If you've been to the original Chicken and ribs, this is VERY, VERY close. I come here for the "lunch special", no matter the time of day. You typically get 2 ribs and a chicken quarter, along with two sides. I've always gotten either double the rice with a side of fries to share and extra gravy, or rice and fries with extra gravy. The ribs and chicken remain very tender and flavorful with the barbecue sauce that they have been using since the original. The barbecue sauce that they use is a good mix between tangy, slightly sweet, and slightly spicy. The rice is still fluffy and tasty and goes really well with their gravy. The fries always seem fresh, crisp, and tender. The gravy lacks a little bit in the flavor department than it used to. As I mentioned, I've been here a few times at various times of the day and, while consistent, still is not as flavorful as the original which pulls a star for me. Given the times and, what I'm assuming is an increase in operational costs, the prices have gone up quite a bit and falls a bit short of their competitors at a similar price-point. One of the best parts of the original and even at the beginning of Love Chicken and Ribs was the value. With that out of the equation, to anyone not leveraging nostalgia as a selling point, it's more closely aligns with a mediocre barbecue spot.If you've never been here, I'd suggest giving it a try for yourself. It might become one of your favorites. For me, I will still continue to go here for as long as I can. The food still takes me to a time when life was simpler and the tables around me were filled with friends and family stopping for lunch on a day out.

Ordered food for take out, my only issue with it is that the ribs (pork/beef) are so hot which it melts the styrofoam containers.

Small restaurant in a row of restaurants. I got to go so didn't sit down to eat but it looked clean. I ordered to go online and my order was ready for pick up when I arrived. I asked for extra sauce which I got. The food was great! All the meats were fall off the bone, juicy, and the bbq sauce was great. The sauce had the perfect combination of tangy and sweet. Will be going back next time I'm craving bbq.
