If I would have given a review 7 years ago in 2016, I would have said 1 star. Because there was no beer on tap, it was a Corona from a refrigerator & my thoughts were that I could go across the street to Target to get beer from a refrigerator for cheaper. However, when this guy invited me inside on Wed. 9-6-23,, it was a different story. It was very welcoming & friendly. The cold beers (Corona, Dos Equis, Modelo) in bottles were delicious, especially on a hot day, & at a discounted price during happy hour. The bartender (the owner's wife) kindly made me some free popcorn. There was a jukebox playing Mexican music & it was entertaining to see someone singing along to some songs. I enjoyed my time there & was thankful that my friend had invited me. I really like him & liked it even more watching him play pool & hit the ball really hard at times. And I learned some more Spanish too. So my mind changed from 1 to 5 stars. Thanks for your generosity & thanks for treating him well!

This was a nice little joint I happened to come across looking for a locals style restaurant. I showed up a bit after 5, so it wasn't to busy yet. The tv near the ceiling as a list of all the beers available on tap. Some of their beers are not my type, but that's fine. When you sit down, you have 2 fermentation tanks in the dining area that makes for a neat experience. The beers are pretty decent. They do have a happy hour, but I'm not sure of the times. I did order the bratwurst, it was ok. I do think the menu should be expanded, as there wasn't much to choose from. Several photos from years back showed a significant menu; but not anymore. Overall I'd come back. I enjoy the small atmosphere and the locals feel that is involved.

Went here for a meal on Friday night at 9 PM. The place was pretty empty, which was nice. The staff was outstanding and helpful. You order your food at the bar and take a seat. Though the menu is somewhat limited, the food is excellent. I had a fried chicken sandwich and it was absolutely one of the best sandwiches I have had in a long time. The beer menu is long and varied and the decor in the place is pretty cool. If I am in Azusa I would definitely return.

Casual brewery with plenty of beer options and some food options. Came here at 11:30am on a Saturday post-hike and there was a short line, but plenty of seating. Indoor and outdoor seating available. You order at the counter and then they’ll bring your food out, but there’s no table service otherwise. There is a water dispenser where you can self-service your water. The employee who helped us mentioned that a lot of people come here after hiking nearby, so you wouldn’t be out of place wearing workout clothes. There was only her and someone in the kitchen so there was a bit of a wait, but thats totally understandable given the state of the current restaurant industry. She forgot to put in our order for an atomic sausage, but it’s all good. We split some nachos and added carnitas; there wasn’t a lot of meat, but I did like the beer cheese. They have vegetarian and vegan options available.

Ask for German; tell him Scott and Jenn sent you. Small bar but huge hearts and good folks, they have two pool tables music is a mixture of Spanish and English, they don't serve stiff drinks, but the price of their beers are great, and the beer is ice cold.

It's a lil dive bar, been here for decades and family owned. Definitely isn't a hipster bar it has its regulars and it's just a super chill place to be. They only sell beer and it's cash only, I've been there a couple of times since they re opened and I ordered food on grub hub.. drink beer eat tacos and listen to music on the juke. I'm not sure what else you want from a lil dive bar.. if you want the 20 dollar cocktails then go somewhere else.. happy hour 1-5pm every day beer is 3.50 and then after 5 it's 4.50.

I was in Azusa yesterday, not sure what or where to have for lunch. Found Taco Nazo on Yelp, decided to give it a try. Fantastic food! Fish tacos were truly fantastic (not a cheap hyperbole), and the tacos al pastor quite tasty as well. The combos are gigantic, so come hungry if that's what you plan on ordering. The ceviche looked really good, though I did not try it. Will definitely go back next time in the area.
