superb, a cut above. been seeing this spot as i make my way up to west fork trail with my bike on the car rack. finally stopped by and saw it was dollar fish tacos on wednesdays, so that was my order. i got it to go and waited only about the length of one classic 80's music video, rock en espanol type, on the big screen and it was awesome.
the three fish tacos came loaded with cabbage, cilantro, tomato. the fish was fried light and crisp and tasty, a creamy sauce was just savory and sweet enough. also included generous handful of what may be the best in house tortilla chips i've had ever (?!) with two generous portions of salsas, red and green. each salsa had a distinct and heady flavor, lots of care went into each one, that was evident. some spots these days the salsas are lacking. plus you gotta ask for both red and green, which i get, but it was really nice that you don't have to ask, that they want to give you as much as they can.
all of that for $3.33. i would pay more it's not that, it's just the giving vibe that's notable. i mean, i can see why the tables were almost all full with contented locals. i'm definitely going back again, another time i head out to the bike trail.

I ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito and there was no eggs or potatoes in the burrito. Just chorizo, beans, and cheese.

Food: wife got Carne Asada Torta🍔. I ordered a hard shell beef taco 🌮 and Al Pastor burrito 🌯. Torta and taco was quite good. Burrito was OK. Atmosphere: small taco shop feel. Service: Efficient but cold? Will probably return.

Good food, I got the quesadilla. I liked that they put the lettuce and sour cream inside, most places just put it on the side. Don’t personally recommend the “guacamole”. Some of the best salsa verde I’ve had though. Gracias amigos.
This was a 10/10 with everything until recently they got rid of the homemade Agua Frescas for cheap fountain drink ones. It definitely takes away from the authenticity of this establishment that I’ve been frequenting for over 20 years. Hopefully they bring it back some day.
