This is a very unassuming sushi restaurant located near Target, with a warm, clean interior and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. We ordered a mix of bowls, plates, and sushi, and everything reflected the price in terms of quality, flavor, and portion size. While I wouldn’t necessarily describe it as a value spot, it clearly prioritizes quality over quantity—which is to be expected with sushi. That said, the menu offers both lighter and more substantial options. We chose smaller portions and were pleasantly satisfied, spending under $50 for two people.

The bluefin tuna sushi was incredibly fresh, and the udon was absolutely delicious. Everything we ordered was excellent, and the overall experience was very satisfying. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to coming back again.

Came here for date night with my gf. The service was spectacular, very welcoming and attentive. I had the tonkotsu and it was delicious. My gf had the yellow tail roll and sushi lover roll, which she said was 100/10! Will be coming ojt here for more😋

This place is sad.
If allowed I’d give it ZERO STARS.
From the servers to the man who prepares the sushi
rolls and the rolls themselves.
I was excited to try this place out.
They have a strict serving schedule.
I finally waltzed in. The vibe is not a vibe.
It’s kinda depressing.
I ordered a spicy tuna roll for starters and to try it out.
The man preparing the rolls had the absolute worst demeanor. I don’t like to judge a book by its cover. So I sat there and watched him prepare my roll.
I sat at the sushi bar. I saw this man preparing my one roll. He seemed the most unhappiest sushi roll maker I’ve ever encountered in my life.
So, of course, my sushi roll was just as sad as the restaurant, the servers and this man behind the sushi counter.
I got up, started walking out, and I said: “I’m not eating that sad sushi roll.”
The man behind the sushi bar started yelling at me in his language.
This spicy tuna sushi roll was the most saddest, slapped together roll I’ve ever seen.
I wasn’t going to eat that nor pay for it.
I walked out and let the man continue to verbally abuse me in his own language.
I would never recommend a place like this.
Specially if the attitude is the worst.
I can overlook poor decor, lack of staffing, and other things, but the attitude; NEVER.
Not to mention the “saddest” roll ever.
Stay away from this place.
“May the force be with you all!”

We were the only people in the restaurant and a sushi chef came from upstairs and looked like he just woke up to make our rolls. They were sloppy and would hardly stay together well enough to eat. He made them and then was coughing on his way back upstairs. It was not something you want to see when paying for food. I wouldn’t go back.
Our local go-to sushi restaurant, very friendly and great food!

Earlier today, I went into this store location to potentially be hired. (Keep in mind there was a help wanted sign in the front window). I went in and a small dog (with no service animal vest) ran up to the door and started barking at me once I opened the door. According to California state law, no animal with the exception of a service animal is allowed in a restaurant setting. Not only that but I wasn’t sure if the dog would bite me or attack me. Once the owner came out, I asked if she was hiring and she looked at my resume. I understand that maybe I wasn’t a good fit for the restaurant which is fine but she looked at me with such disrespect and practically shoved my resume back in my face. I get the job market is tough but respect is so important these days. Just be warned there isn’t a friendly dog on the premises as of right now and the manager doesn’t treat potential staff well at all.

Amazing food and service! Waitstaff was friendly and caring. Gave good explanations on dishes I was unfamiliar with and a very fair price for the amount of food we got. Will return!!!!

this place is good, compared to the options in the area, this place is great. We we're there last night, valentines day, they were slammed, tons of orders, full tables. The waitress was great, and handled it gracefully. Sure, things were slow, but thats to be expected when they were so busy.but the 1 star, and the ultimately the reason why i dont think i'll be going back - halfway through our meal another employee (owner?) showed up to work, but also brought along a small dog. the dog was walking freely back and forth between the kitchen and dining area, and barking at people. theres places dogs are ok, sure, but restaurant kitchens is not it.
