Tacos Guerrero and Mexican Food

I’ve eaten at Tacos Guerrero several times now, and every visit has reinforced why this place deserves a full 5-star review. If you’re looking for real-deal Mexican food that tastes like someone’s family kitchen—fresh, bold, and made with care—this is it.

Food & Flavor: The tacos are the headliners, and they don’t miss. The carne asada is juicy and well-seasoned, the al pastor has that perfect balance of marinade, sweetness, and char, and the carnitas are tender without being greasy. The tortillas taste freshly made (warm, soft, a little toasty on the edges), and that alone puts them ahead of most places. Salsas matter, and theirs deliver: bright salsa verde, a rich red with a slow heat, and a pico that actually tastes fresh—not out of a bag.

Consistency Across the Menu: Beyond tacos, the burritos and combo plates come out hot, properly filled (not all rice), and balanced. If you like breakfast burritos, get one—you’ll taste the difference in the eggs and potatoes. Portions are generous without feeling sloppy.

Service: The crew here is genuinely welcoming. Even when they’re slammed, they greet you, answer questions about the menu, and offer suggestions if you’re torn between meats. On one visit they noticed we had kids and brought extra mild salsa without us asking. Little touches like that make you want to come back.

Speed & Accuracy: Orders have been right every time—whether dine-in, takeout, or a bigger family order with mix-and-match tacos. Food comes out fast but not rushed.

Cleanliness & Presentation: Dining area and counters have been consistently clean. To-go orders are packed so nothing leaks, and toppings stay where they’re supposed to.

Value: For the quality and portion size, pricing is more than fair. You walk away feeling like you got something made with care, not just fast food in a tortilla.

Bottom line: Tacos Guerrero is now my go-to spot for Mexican food. If you’re anywhere nearby, make the trip—and don’t skip the al pastor or the salsa verde. Five stars all the way.

Tacos Guerrero is hands down one of the best spots for authentic Mexican food! The flavors are incredible – every taco is packed with perfectly seasoned meat, fresh toppings, and homemade tortillas that take everything to the next level. The salsa and sides are just as good, adding the perfect kick to every bite.
