Always a great place to either grab lunch during the week or grand some breakfast on the weekend! My go-tos are the burger, breakfast burritos, or biscuits and gravy! You can also eat while you're car is being washed. All of the lady's there are really nice. Highly recommend this place to anyone.

Some of us remember the 34th Street carwash. This is the deli / burger stand that was inside. Different spot but same great lunch. I had the pastrami sandwich. Very good. Nice way to get the car cleaned up and grab a bite. Efficient! They have breakfast too if you choose to come in early. As far as ambiance, hey, it's a carwash.

The burrito was not tasty at all. The flower tortilla was what I can only describe as undercooked. The texture was not anything I’ve experience with homemade tortillas, almost grainy. There was also a smell from it as if the oil was old and not clean.

This is a great place to get a meal. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. I would recommend getting a meal from there anytime.

I went in to get a chili cheese burrito - which I bought there a month ago and the gal said I don't have any burritos to fry! I said no I bought a chili cheese burrito here and it was simply wrapped in a flour tortilla- she refused to make one even though they have Chile and cheese and tortillas! Oh well! It was delicious but it wasn't busy at all! Any responsible owner of a food place usually compromises (in my experience) to make money! I don't understand! And it would have been easy money for them to make it - quick and easy!

If I could give this place zero stars I would! Horrible service and the food tasted like grease. The system was down due to the internet and the cashier Jose was extremely rude! The price for such nasty food was ridiculous! I regret not going down the street to McDonald's! Save your money and take your business elsewhere.

Would order allot more because the food is good but the service is bad girls look and speak to you with an attitude as if they hate their job and don't even think of calling in an order to avoid it because they never answer the phone.

I have tried MANY breakfast burritos in Bakersfield, and I have finally found the best one. For years, I have been searching for a breakfast burrito that actually tastes good and is not full of eggs. I have found it here at 34th Street Burgers and Deli. The monster burrito is full of meat and flavor! They make their flour tortillas by hand!!! This breakfast burrito beats those from Leo's, Taco (overhyped)bros, Fresco Mexican grill, Del Taco, El toro, and La Villa. Stop thinking about it and try it out. Again, it's the MONSTER Burrito.

Good food, bad service. Grill top lady will take your order, cook it and serve you, probably why she hates doing it and does it without an ounce of personality in sight. Oh and your number is the ticket number not the number they write on the paper, she rolled her eyes when I didn’t automatically know what their system was. Overall would not come for the experience again and would order Togo only.

The 34th st. Burgers is an legit hidden gem. Inside a Chevron station between 24th and 23th streets Bakersfield, my sister and I stopped in for fuel. To our delight open the door and behold a real honest burger stand. I ordered a patty melt on rye, Sis got a tuna melt on sourdough. Sis enjoyed the tuna sandwich except for the sweet pickle relish. However, the patty melt was the best I've had in my 56 years on this world. The beef patty was NOT the preformed burger as one would expect, but a real hand formed burger that was as juicy as homemade. Even after cooking, the irregular patty was an 1/2 inch thick. Very flavorful well seasoned, the rye a proper rye toasted, onions properly grilled. I highly recommend 34th. St Burgers.

This small spot is located inside of a gas station, but it does have a dining area with three or so tables. I came for the breakfast burritos and it was everything that I thought it would be! We were greeted by a wonderful employee who was busy making some fresh tortillas to use for the day. I ordered the Monster Burrito and it came with two sides of Chile verde salsa. It was made with the fresh tortilla she had just finished preparing and assembled beautifully! Truly delicious, but it is a bit greasy so if you have a sensitive stomach be warned.
