I was blown away by everything!! Food was amazing! Customer service was stellar. Our drinks were so good!! Genuinely one of the best cafes I’ve ever been to in Bakersfield
Hector Miranda I’ve been trying to reach you I went to business with you gave you 3k and you haven’t reach back at me you just ignored me just posting this to help people to not go on business with you I really thought you were cool but I guess everybody change once you start getting money here I’ll leave our conversation
Big fan of Vietnamese coffee, and decided to try this place out.
First time I stopped by in April and bought two Vietnamese coffees, total price $22.73! I don’t know why I didn’t question it at the time, to be honest.
I returned just this month, and for ONE it was $7.58.
With that in mind, wouldn’t the pricing for two back in April have been around $15?
Why is the pricing so inconsistent? I did not ask for any add-ons or substitutions on either occasion. If there were a price increase in the drinks that would make sense, but pricing still seems unreasonable.
It seems like this place upcharges or pricing is based on which employee is manning the register.
If trying this place out, just keep in mind that you won’t pay the same price every time for the same drink.
Honestly, this is my favorite local coffee shop. After my second time, the manager knew my name and my order.
I get the cafe con leche with an extra shot and it’s perfect every time. Also, their avocado toast is probably my favorite food item.
They have great drinks, their flavored cold brews are infused rather than relying on flavored syrups. A big negative however, it seems their A/C is broken, I was there on a Sunday afternoon recently and the internal temp of the store was 87 degrees, definitely not pleasant to hang out in.
Horrible customer service, there was this guy with black hair and he was on his phone and not paying attention when I was trying to order despite me repeatedly trying to order.
I had been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got the chance last weekend. I went on a Saturday around 11:30 AM and the place was packed. I asked the staff about the ube Vietnamese iced coffee I had seen on their social media and the girl at the counter pointed to a flyer showing drinks made with ube cold foam.
I asked what type of milk was in it and she told me it was dairy-free aside from a small amount of condensed milk drizzled on the cup, which I can tolerate. I decided to order it and paid the $2 upcharge for the ube cold foam. My total was $8.66.
However, when I got my drink, there was no bright purple ube foam like the photos. I didn’t want to make a fuss, especially since it was so busy, so I convinced myself that maybe it was mixed in or drizzled on the side of the cup.. but I definitely didn’t get what I paid for.
A couple days later I went back to give them another chance hoping for a better experience. This time a different employee helped me and when I ordered the same drink, she asked if I wanted a milk alternative. I was confused since the first person told me it was already dairy-free (aside from the condensed milk). She explained that the drink usually comes with whole milk, but they could substitute oat milk for an extra $1.
That made me question the accuracy of the information I was given the first time. In total I ended up paying $9.74 for a 16oz drink with oat milk — which just feels way overpriced given the confusion, lack of consistency, and the fact that I didn’t even get the ube cold foam the first time.
The coffee itself tasted good, but the experience left a lot to be desired. I really wanted to love this spot but the inconsistencies and pricing made it hard to justify coming back again.
I have this coffee shop a chance. This is my third time here because the coffee is delicious. My favorite Cafe de Horchata! However, the service is horrible. Kind people but too busy handling other things (upstairs, cooking, etc.).
It's my favorite local coffee place. Forget those big chain coffee places. This place has delicious coffee!

Not lying, not exaggerating, best coffees in town! Very delicious! Trying a green ice tea today with honey, it’s minty fresh, I would get it again. Also for a hot beverage Café De La Olla, love this unique flavor. Highly recommend Adventure Waits to locals and visitors ?

I went into this shop because I loved the way it looked and I had to try it out! I had a delicious turmeric drink! It was fabulous. I forgot the name but I will be getting it again for sure!
if you like being told what to have and how to have your coffe this place is for you. you aren’t allowed to adjust any of the drinks so if your allergic to whole milk and half and half your sol they have coconut milk won’t let you use it over all controle freaks and very rude when taking orders if you don’t believe me you’ll find out I’m telling the truth Cuban coffe more like Cuban meanie heads . #dissapointment
