Amazing local coffee shop! I loved the coffee quotes all over the walls and the fun atmosphere. Big shoutout to the friendly staff. I highly recommend the guava & cream cheese empanada and the iced cafe de miel. I am really happy that I stopped by on a Sunday morning.

This place was recommend to me. Unfortunately i went for the 1st time, and it was nothing special. Not very friendly, loud unwanted music so you can barely hear them talk, overly expensive for no reason. I got an apple pocket 6.88. They attempt to warm it up, but the fruit is still cold when they give it to you. I asked the girl what she would recommend, and she just upcharged me and gave me the largest drink. The best thing I can say is the pecan coffee actually taste like pecan. Diffently will not go back or recommend to anyone.. I have purchased better at cheaper prices from other places.

The owner was making the drinks and the employee was at the counter taking orders. I was impressed with the training and knowledge the employee had.For me, going to a coffee shop is about the experience and part of that experience is having people who are knowledgable and passionate about coffee. Coffee is more than simply a job to them.I asked about the coffee beans used because for 15 years I had a business in Seattle, the coffee capital of the world, where I commercially roasted coffee. Actually, I had the business for 27 years and began roasting coffee as an added product line after 12 years.I also owned a travel business taking people on Coffee tours in what is known as the Bean Belt where all coffee is grown. My knowledge and passion for coffee is advanced. When I asked about the beans used, the owner got defensive and no conversation was to be had. We placed our order and sat down.My girlfriend went into the bathroom to use it and could not. When she came back and told the owner of the problem, he knew about the problem but had not time to take care of it.We sat waiting for our coffee. Somehow, our order got given to someone else. It seemed to me the owner is trying to build a good coffee business but if just not well organized.I enjoyed all the signs on the walls and on the floor even. The coffee was Cuban style which means it is made with a lot of sugar added. I did not know it was a Cuban style coffee shop. For those who like the added sweetness, I can recommend the coffee made in this shop. It's just not for me.I am on an adventure to find what is to my liking as the best indie coffee shop in Bakersfield. The reader can read some of my other reviews. When I find what to me is the best indie coffee shop, I will surely write a great review about it and I think it will be a shop that most true coffee lovers will enjoy.

This is the best coffee shop in Bakersfield. Authentic Cultural Drink menu with amazing food options. Cozy modern vibe. Service is excellent but the only thing making this perfect is wifi to enjoy for a longer duration.

Hidden gem in downtown Bakersfield! Ethnic inspired coffee drinks that are delicious. Try the breakfast croissant sandwich, you won't be disappointed!

This coffee shop is SO good! We got a couple of drinks and a sandwich and were blown away by all of them. Great customer service as well!

Here from out of town. Not in the most nicest part of Bakersfield but our barista was so knowledgeable and truly had a passion for making great coffee. Their speciality is Cuban coffee. As someone who has personally been to Cuba, it was pretty spot on! Definitely felt like I was transported back to Havana. Will most likely visit again if I find myself back in town.

Such a cute downtown coffee shop. The baristas are all super friendly. The coffee is strong and delicious and the pastries are yummy and fresh.

Horrible business practices, horrible customer service, and absolutely no integrity whatsoever. I can’t even begin to believe how they have no shame. I will definitely be making many anonymous & personal reports to various authority branches about this company.
