If I could leave a Zero star I would. Terrible carne with chile colorado. Menu says “steak”but they brought out chunks of stew meat in a red broth. Disgusting!! The server said “That’s how it is here” and never checked on us again. Terrible food, even worse service.

I am so fortunate to live nearby the Arizona Cafe, some of the best and most consistent menudo in town and personally the one restaurant I have been able to count on for good, simple menudo that is pretty close to what my abuelito used to make. Over 20 years it’s been the same simple indulgence that I have firmly come to know as a staple in my life.
Really appreciate the simple food and the simple service even on busy Sunday brunch days. Thanks for being a cornerstone and my go to menudo spot since I was a kid. With or without a hangover, it’s very good.

I always enjoy dropping into this historical landmark with my old compadre. Lots of history at this location. . Recently we both had the Chili Verde plate with fresh flour tortillas and rice and beans . The food is very authentic. However there is a little heat on the chili verde ,but it’s always extremely delicious . Our sever, Marian was attentive and provided excellent service . I highly recommend this landmark in Old Town Kern for a wonderful dining experience.

Well we had been there many times I'm a fan of Chille Verde that's my main dish this last time I went it wasn't like it was before as time gose on I guess there's always a new cook can't loose that great taste ☺👍💯
