I really wanted to like it, but unfortunately the food lacked authentic Mexican flavor. The flavor of the spices on the chicken fajitas just wasn’t there. It was an overall OK dish. If your palette doesn’t handle spices or spicy food, then this could be a good spot for you. But if you are craving that authentic Mexican sazón, then maybe this is not the place for you. The service was fantastic though and so was the atmosphere! MAYBE, just maybe I will go back to try an appetizer (asada fries).
Food was very good and the service was excellent as well.
Everything was absolutely amazing. From the salsa to the fajitas...simply the best.
Our family loves to have lunch on the patio at Asada Grill. Great food and great service. They usually serve some amazing shell soup while you are waiting for your meal. Also, the shrimp tacos are a must have if you go.
I love the fact that they're able to make a customized vegetarian burrito and how we were offered complementary chips and salsa along with a sample of the soup.
Vegetarian options: You are able to customize dishes to make them vegetarian friendly.
Don’t recommend this place. This is not Mexican food. My husband ordered the salmon, it didn’t look good, it didn’t taste good. Over priced for what they serve. I rather pay a little more for tasty food. A lot to choose from in Bakersfield!!
Had a FANTASTIC Time. EVERYONE was Great. Food was wonderful and Drinks were delicious. Again, everyone in my party had a great time!!!
My wife and I find this place actually by happy chance. We thought it was actually fast food place but end up being much better food. Service was great, waitress was quite nice (unfortunately forgot her name). Will go back again in future ?
The Food There Was Amazing! 10/10 Must Try Again!
Great service! Fast and friendly. Awesome music playing (rock en Español). I had the carne asada wet burrito and the strawberry margarita on the rocks. I’ve been here twice to watch the Dodger game and enjoy yummy food and drinks. Will keep coming back.
Restaurantji Recommends
Nice and clean. Employees were very nice. Salsa was pretty good. Food was just okay. For a Mexican restaurant the music was pretty random
The refried beans were good.. the rice was ok.. the shredded beef in the taquitos was bland.. the supita was good... they got a little confused with my order, I only wanted sour cream but they gave me lettuce, tomato and guacamole.. later that night I had bad indigestion and another person in my party was sick too.. she had the beef taco and a cheese enchilada.. the staff was nice and attentive..
Wonderful staff and great food. Always clean and the food is top notch. I highly recommend it.
This place is amazing! they now offer full service sit down dining experience and they also have a Cantina where you an grab a drink, a meal, and watch TV. This place is very cozy and intimate but it can also be a great place to grab some food and drinks with some friends or family. It's a very family-friendly environment with great service and personable staff, in which delivers great customer service. Give this place a try and I guarantee you'll love it and come back.
This used to be the best place for fresh Burritos in town. You could walk In and order and they would make it on front of you. Now, it's a small sit down restaurant. I used to order 3 times a week...it's a shame they changed because I don't want a sit down restaurant... The chef there was amazing. Have no idea who's making food now since they closed it off. Guess I'll find a new place... ?
