Its hard to work in a restaurant i get it. I too get frustrated infront of customers, but honestly the the guy who took our order was nice but you could tell hes had a day. This review has nothing to do with food quality or although everything to do with the price. I agree with another person who said to just go to crab in the bag, cant punish the customers by overpricing just so yall can make ends meet… to me taste was overall 8/10 price is a 4/10 service 7/10

My partner & I just moved from Texas and we’re looking for a seafood boil place. We shared the Jumbo Seafood Bag which came with almost everything (had to add eggs separately) and it was great! Taste, texture, cleanliness, the proportion was good for two to share like we did and we ever brought home some leftovers! Overall great experience 9/10. I will say it’s a bit pricey but it’s worth it! They did charge me twice for a fountain drink though I just didn’t notice until I left but overall would recommend coming here for the seafood boil. Crab legs were bomb 🔥

We got the shrimp po’boy and the cajun hot crab leg boil. It was delicious. Both meals were pretty well portioned, and the spice level was great. Just one request for the restaurant which is to have add-ons to the boil like broccoli, lobster tail etc. A great place for Bakersfield!

I recently visited AT C Fresh, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I ordered a pound and a half of lemon pepper shrimp, while my son ordered the same amount of peeled garlic butter shrimp. However, his order arrived incorrectly with the shells still on. When we informed the server, he seemed annoyed rather than helpful.
As for my order, it was supposed to be lemon pepper, but what I received was heavily garlicky with no discernible lemon flavor. When I asked about it, I was told that all their dishes come with garlic, which didn’t make any sense given the specific flavors we had ordered. I decided to eat it anyway, not wanting to cause a scene, but I was shocked to find two hairs in my food. To make matters worse, I discovered a feather with a bone in my shrimp, which was completely off-putting. I discreetly went to the counter to inform them, but the damage to my dining experience had already been done.
The biggest issue came when I received the bill. I was charged $17 for a pound and $12 for a half-pound of shrimp for my order, and $19 and $15 respectively for my son’s order. When I asked why the half-pound was so overpriced, the explanation was confusing, and I was too frustrated to continue the conversation. To add insult to injury, I noticed that a 10% service fee (gratuity) was already included in the bill, yet I was still prompted to leave an additional tip. It felt like they were trying to double-dip on gratuities, which left a sour taste in my mouth.
Overall, my experience at AT C Fresh was disappointing. The food quality was subpar, the service was lacking, and the pricing felt deceptive. I expected better and unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

I ordered the seafood combo with The Works sauce through DoorDash. The sauce is soooo good! Best in Bakersfield. It’s similar to Rockin’ Crawfish’s sauce, that I’ve been craving for. I finally found the Cajun place I’ll order the seafood from. I highly recommend it.
