Discovered this little hidden gem spot as I was looking for an early morning coffee shop close by. One of those places that you constantly drive by in your commute but had no idea it even existed. A very straightforward menu consisting of different coffee and tea choices. For a Sunday morning pick me up I ordered a white chocolate mocha and it was just what the barista ordered. A bold flavor with a nice touch of sweetness. I also ordered a dulce de leche scone. I'm not very familiar with scones but it had great texture and flavor. Very nice and relaxing atmosphere, service was very friendly.

Beanies opens just about a year go and let me tell you I’ve been obsessed ever since.

I work in the same complex and I get a coffee if not once a day but 2-3 times a day. The overall quality, experience and atmosphere if absolutely amazing. I am a coffee lover and I have ditched my Starbucks addiction for beanies.

The owner Krishan is the most kind and funny person. He has gone out of his way to even remember my name. I know I go just about every day but that was a choice to remember my name. He didn’t have to but he did and I definitely feel valued as a customer.

There is a barista there who always has a smile on her face, positive energy and is always sparking conversation with everyone who walks in! She definitely puts in the extra effort and goes the extra mile. She is one of the ABSOLUTE BEST baristas I have ever met. Not only does she make my coffee to perfection EVERY single time, she has amazing hospitality and always engages in a conversation not only with me but with whoever walks in. Her name is Chyanne and she adds to the welcoming and positive energy of the cafe.

This little cafe has become my hidden gem. I always recommend anyone who needs a coffee, matcha, tea and even water to stop by beanies! This coffee shop is one of the best in Bakersfield!

I can’t say enough great things about Beanies! The drinks were top-notch, but what really made the experience unforgettable were the employees. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm. They were not only incredibly friendly, but also super knowledgeable and passionate about what they do.

I recently visited Beanie’s Coffee Roaster 10 minutes ago hoping to enjoy a peaceful cup of coffee and support a local business. Unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing. From the moment I walked in, I felt invisible. While other patrons—who did not look like me—were greeted warmly and served promptly, I stood at the counter for several minutes without so much as eye contact from the staff.

There was no acknowledgment of my presence, no “we’ll be right with you,” not even a glance of recognition. After standing there feeling increasingly unwelcome and out of place, I made the decision to walk out.

I don’t take these kinds of implications lightly, but this wasn’t just a matter of slow service—it was complete disregard. I truly hope Beanie’s takes this as an opportunity to reflect on how unconscious bias may be affecting the way customers are treated. Every customer deserves respect and acknowledgment, regardless of their background.

I won’t be returning, but I sincerely hope others won’t have to experience what I did.

5 stars all around!! Let me start by saying Cheyenne was super upbeat and friendly!! She was efficient and the drinks were delicious!! My wife got a Dirty Chai Latte & I had the Matcha Latte. I've never had a better Matcha Latte!! Hands down best around!! We are just passing through on our way back to Sacramento, but will make it a point to swing by again when in the area!! Cheers to your success Beanies!!

Matcha latte is so delicious

Nice place, great arabica coffee

First time swinging by. The ice mocha coffee with cold foam was amazing. Smooth rich flavor, not to sweet just the perfect amount of sweetness. Staff were sweet and friendly. Inside was clean and neat. Everything was stocked and organized. Sat outside and over all had an amazing experience. I would definitely recommend this place.

Lavender matcha cronut is INSANELY DELICIOUS. Incredible customer service!!! Coffee and tea selection is unmatched. Strawberry matcha is the perfect balance of sweet and earthy. I’ve never had iced oolong before and i’m obsessed with their peaches n creme. Dubai croissant (baklava filling!!!) is a MUST! If I didn’t live on the opposite side of the country, I’d be here everyday. (also Hurricane by Bridget Mendler was playing upon arrival so instantly amazing atmosphere) THANK YOU!!!!! WE LOVE LOCAL CAFES!!!!
