After years of getting delivery I will not be eating here anymore. Takeout cashier very rude read my order correctly and entered it wrong and told me it was my fault. She wouldn't pull up my order history to verify even though other cashiers do when I call. (I get the same thing every time) When I received the wrong order I called to let her know I got the wrong order and she hung up on me so I figured I’d just leave this review instead of arguing over food. Save yourself the headache dealing with rude staff

I didn't get my whole order and I have to wait over an hr. To get the rest of It for delivery. Girls on the phone are extremely rude.

Best Chinese food in Bakersfield. Amrint is the sweetest and friendliest hostess. Love this place!

I now live in the mid-west, and I've told people about how good the Chinese food is here at Bill Lee's, (they have a lot of Chinese buffets back there,) so while visiting family I came in for lunch, and was disappointed, the bbq ribs were tough, I got lo mein instead of chow mein, and the fried rice was bland, with a coke it was 33$ definitely not worth it,

Rude service kills the flavor of the food and the atmosphere and the desire to return

Love this places atmosphere, food and service. The pineapple chicken sticks is a favorite and the pork chow mein is great. Jumbo fried shrimp are awesome too!

We had a delivery yesterday 10/7 fast as usual
The food however was not up to the Bill Lees standards
I have been eating Bill Lees for over 50 yrs and our order was terrible (no flavor very bland)

Came here with some friends after Sunday service and was disappointed. First off the prices are ridiculously high for the quality of food served. The noodles or chow mein are not like the ones at Panda that most of us are used to. They're more like boiled spaghetti noodles in a way. The Sweet and Sour chicken was just chicken fried with some random red sauce on top that wasn't appealing at all. I hate to bash restaurants but this was not the best experience. I wouldn't bother coming back here .

We recently had an event in the upstairs Banquet room. They were very accommodating and allowed access the evening before the event and early the next day before the event. The food was delicious. The service was great. I would highly recommend Bill Lee’s restaurant for a meal or a special occasion. It’s been a family favorite going back more than 70 years.
