Sandwich and service were good. Cashier was very helpful and professional, taking special care with any special requests. Sandwich shop was outdated. And yes, this is the only option. They handled an unexpected situation with grace!
Im leaving a review to help people out. There are no other reasonable meal options in this airport. The airport is itself outdated so the Blimpees is also outdated. That being said, my sub bread was fresh. I would eat there again. I bought a sandwich at another airport that cost me $15. I threw it in the trash. Blimpees has an A rating according to the posted accredidation, given in 2025. The cashier speaks little English but my sandwich was what I ordered. Anyway, I wouldnt normally...
I stopped by for breakfast before my early flight out of Bakersfield airport. The server seemed tired and a bit slow. The sausage and egg breakfast burrito was pretty good, but the coffee was terrible. I hate starting my morning with a bad cup of Joe!
