I walked into this place just craving one of those fancy Asian drinks. Thought I was gonna treat myself. Instead, I got played—cup was half boba, half disappointment. I needed a drink, not a chew toy. That’s a hard no. I’m not coming back unless they start serving refunds.
One of my kids favorite places to get Boba drinks, the place is a bit confusing to order.
I placed an online order and arrived a couple of minutes early. There was no greeting, no one at the counter, and the staff seemed disorganized and unsure of what to do. The environment was chaotic—not just due to the staff, but also because of a loud customer nearby, which only added to the tension.
After nearly 10 minutes of standing there without acknowledgment, I finally spoke up and said, “Excuse me, I have an online order.” A male employee with long black hair and facial piercings responded rudely and dismissively, rolling his eyes and saying, “You have to come up and tell us, we don’t call you.” His tone and attitude were completely unprofessional.
This was my first time experiencing this at It’s Boba Time—and it will be my last. I understand businesses get busy, but treating customers like an inconvenience is unacceptable. A simple sign or a friendly acknowledgment would have made all the difference
I ordered the boba taro, but I couldn't finish it. Next time getting a smaller size.
Not bad but Not as good as I thought it would be to be honest
Very filthy, need to keep a person on the register at all times!! Watched 3 groups walk in and walk out because line was to long and not moving. Opening the self order screen at busy times would help and satisfy customers.
What's the point of online ordering, if it doesn't even work because you guys turn it off.
Brought my daughter here as part of her reward for getting honor roll. It was my first time so I bought myself one to check the hype. Bruh, the hype checked out! This place is fire🔥
4th time their card system is down, at this point you guys need to change systems or find the root of the problem this is unnecessarily unacceptable
The only spot I like here in bakersfield for boba! Always good and the flavor options are on point. And dairy free options are a plus.

Men! Adrian the tall dude is Amazing! Great enthusiastic approach to customers and motivated. This guy know the standards and the quality of customer service you must give to people. This establishment is blessed to have him. We need more like him. He even walk out the front just to chase us on the missing forks, straws, and napkins. Now, THAT IS GOING BEYOND! God bless you boy! Go get em!
Paid $12 for an acai bowl that had rancid/sour honey. Staff is either not checking the shelf life of products or improperly storing food items. Extremely disappointed

There’s a person line and a self serve line.
The problem is that the person line the cashier will leave and leaving those waiting for 10 mins waiting.
But if I get into the self serve I can’t customize my order. The worker made us get back in the person line for help instead of helping us there an then
It’s not clear that if we want to customize something that it will be available in the self serve line.
The owner should switch to a single line and let the customer at least have one or both options to order. At least why won’t be waiting for 10 mins while the self serve line keeps moving.
Amazing just as good as LA from when this brand first started
Kid with glasses in the morning purposely waited an extra min to open the doors, and didn’t even offer to open the door! He just unlocked it and walked away. Didn’t even offer to open the door and was mean muggin the whole time. If you’re having a bad morning don’t take it out on others especially customers dude. Other workers were nice
