This place is such an amazing coffee stand. The ladies who work there are so pretty and amazingly sweet. I drive up and down CA and always stop through since it’s so easy to get to off the freeway. The girls are always welcoming and really great to get to know. They have fun themes everyday that the ladies get so creative. Kayla is my favorite. She can always make my day better. We always have great talks and she is so amazingly sweet. If you need a ray of sunshine stop by and say hello. It’s a great place to hangout and talk with the girls if they are not too busy. You won’t get this great experience at a Starbucks.

I came in honor of Nautica Malone, and was disappointed when i saw no honey buns. Recommend lifted truck owners to come w/ their bf's.

I was somewhat startled and a great deal suspect when
I saw the half-naked young woman/cashier. I don't really have an opinion on the concept. I was just glad that it turned out the coffee was really good, and I'd definitely go back again.

The coffee was pretty good. Nothing particularly special. The price was also average. I wouldn’t say that there’s anything particularly special of the staff experience. No smile, gave me my coffee. I can respect that, however this places niche was entirely about a friendly experience than you’d get at Starbucks.

Grab your coffee here if you’re bored of Starbucks and you can hop on 99 quickly.

Sydney is the best barista I’ve had at bottoms up, she’s super charismatic and her drinks always come out the best. I’ll definitely come back whenever she is working!

Both locations are convenient for grabbing a drink while running errands or heading out of town. The dual driveways and quick service reduce the chance of blocking traffic on the road.
Staff are friendly, informative, and pleasant to interact with during the brief time ordering or waiting.
Wide variety of coffee, caffeine, and other drinks and easy to eat on the go foods. Both hot and cold drinks have great flavor, can be customized as needed, and are great value for the quality, size, and price.
I recommend an ice latte with coconut milk and no syrup on a warm day. The coconut milk is refreshing and sweet without diluting the espresso flavor.

I was there yesterday and enjoyed my Carmel Macchiato hot drink. I love going to local coffee shops where ever I go and coffee in general..

I've been here a few times since they've opened. I had never been to Hooters, I haven't been to any of the strip clubs we have here in town, and I never had the pleasure of dining at Tilted Quilt or Twin Peaks.

However, Bottoms Up is a place that you can enjoy going to because Bottoms Up espresso isn't just coffee, energy drinks, and microwaved food. The people who work here are what bring a smile to everyone's face. Many of you may argue that it's not decent for women to dress a certain way or to be subjected to the gaze of others. However, these women choose to work here. They are confident and comfortable in their skin. They take the skill set of a batista, the patience of being a cashier, and mix all together in a cup of quality service and a friendly attitude. Every interaction I've had with the ladies that work here has always been positive.

I feel like if the ladies didn't want to work here, they wouldn't have applied. They go in knowing the dress code. They go in knowing the type of customers they could possibly get.

And yet they still give good recommendations on drinks, they don't make you feel rushed, they maintain a friendly and positive environment. It's a small drive-thru on a busy intersection and usually a small staff juggling it all. I applaud these ladies on their hard work and friendliness.

Regardless of what small, closed-minded, old-fashioned thinkers may say, this business is doing a good job.

Espresso with a big surprise!

I was driving through Bakersfield to Las Vegas and needed some wake-me-up caffeine. So, I drove towards where I thought I remembered a drive-through coffee shop of a certain brand (It was not Bottoms Up!), and I pulled over as soon as I saw the drive-through. I was pulling out my cell phone and looking around while waiting for the window to open when I noticed signs asking customers not to take photos without permission. I thought that was odd when the window opened, and a young lady dressed in lingerie with a big smile asked me what I wanted! I did not expect that at all and was lost for words for a few seconds before I ordered my espresso, paid for it, and drove away! Later I Googled the business's name and read about it, and it all made sense!

To review the place as I should, the young lady was very polite and had a big welcoming smile. She made my espresso exactly how I wanted it, with a dash of cream, and the espresso was good.

As for the background and history of the business, here is the summary of what I found on the net:

In a coffee-fueled journey that started in 2010, Alexandra Ireland and Nate Wilson joined forces to create the now-iconic concept of Bottoms Up Espresso. Hailing from Seattle, Alexandra got a taste of the bikini coffee trend in her early 20s and dove into it headfirst as a bikini barista herself. But she saw room for improvement in the business model - not just from the owners, but from the staff too. Teaming up with Nate, they hatched their plan in central California.

The first steamy chapter of Bottoms Up Espresso unfolded in Modesto, California, in early 2011, where they opened their debut store at Prescott and Briggsmore. Their revamped bikini barista approach struck a chord, resulting in success and prompting them to launch a second store within that same year. As time zipped by, Bottoms Up Espresso's story unfolded with a caffeinated fervor, sprouting into 6 locations across central California. The secret to their rise? A blend of exceptional customer service, delectable drinks, and a contagiously energetic team.

Fueled by a passion for quality coffee and a pulsating drive, Bottoms Up Espresso envisions further nationwide growth. Their success formula centers around crafting superior products, setting up alluring and efficient spots, and keeping the energetic spirit alive. So, as the aromatic journey continues, Bottoms Up Espresso remains steadfast on the path of innovation, one cup at a time.
