We came here on Saturday, September 20th to celebrate my brother’s 15th birthday and, unfortunately, the evening was disappointing from start to finish.
Despite making a 7:30 pm reservation, the hostess and manager seemed unsure where to seat us. We waited while they pushed together three small tables hardly the smooth welcome you’d expect from a higher-end restaurant.
The food looked beautiful, but that’s where the positives ended. We ordered pasta as an appetizer (my brother’s choice), but it lacked flavor and was completely unremarkable. The drink my server recommended was underwhelming.
For my entrée, I ordered the octopus. Presentation was gorgeous, but the texture was off, slimy on top and unpleasantly tough. After a few small bites and eating only the pineapple garnish, I told the server it was inedible and sent it back. I lost my appetite and declined a replacement.
The rest of the table fared no better:
• My brother’s steakordered medium-well—came out well-done and dry. The zucchini that came with it was uncooked. We paid an extra $8 for a side, and honestly, Texas Roadhouse serves a better steak.
• The mashed potatoes tasted sour and off.
• My sister’s chicken flautas were bland, and the green salsa on top was oddly sweet—unusual for traditional Mexican cuisine.
• My mom’s “shrimp al mojo” turned out to be more like shrimp scampi, and the shrimp were overcooked.
• Only rice and beans were available as sides because the others had “run out.”
• Even my daughter’s pizza was just ordinary; she barely ate a slice.
Service was equally underwhelming. Our server was polite but inattentive, and the manager refused to fully comp my entrée, claiming I’d eaten half (I hadn’t only a few bites and the pineapple). To top it off, a $30 gratuity was automatically added for a party of five. In my experience, that’s typically reserved for larger groups or true fine dining this was neither.
What was meant to be a special 15th birthday dinner turned into an evening of frustration and disappointment. For the price and reputation, we expected far better food, service, and overall experience. We left upset and will not be returning.

The food was real good.
Service is bad. They just want ur money you’re better off going to a fast food. Restaurant and pay less. And probably better service

This has to be hands down one of the worst businesses I have ever ate at! Compared to another place downtown, as well as the other fine dining establishment scattered around town this is by far the worst experience I have had in a while. The food I genuinely wanted to enjoy as it looked very scrumptious. However, once my wife and I received our meals we were ecstatic to eat. The food was cold, the rice as if it was from the week prior, the only thing that was good were my wifes and I margaritas and other alcoholic drinks. The service was top notch (just the lady helping), everything else seemed unprofessional. Utensils were also dirty we had to ask for another set. Its too dark for our liking as well almost theatre-scenic-like. Will not be coming back here unless we are looking for a pretty decent margarita. Only good thing about this was leaving with a head change to steer away from asking for a manager. Even then, dont think that would have solved anything if this is the way business is ran. Either need new management, or just sell this place!

The food was delicious and fancy fancy! The Agua frescas are amazing. Decently priced and a great environment for an anniversary. Made a reservation, and everything flowed smoothly.

It was my first time there on June 8th and it was disappointing! It was around 1:30pm and the restaurant was really hot inside. To the point you can't enjoy your food because its so hot. We went to the Sunday buffet and the plates where always gone. The food was not good on the chile verde and chile rojo. It's $29.99 with unlimited mimosas. I was only able to get one mimosa (and the glasses are half the size) because they didn't have it stocked up. I had to be in line to try to get a mimosa and the bottles were gone by the time it was my turn. Then 30 min before brunch was over, they closed the mimosa bar because supposedly they ran out. My kids wanted carne asada tacos and they had no carne asada. They were given another meat that was spicy and they didn't eat. The fruit was all mixed together with cucumber and it was soggy. We had to hand call for service. THEY ALSO CHARGE YOU EXTRA TO USE A CARD! Husband and I were both disappointed even our kids.

Had brunch for Fathers day, great food items.
Absolutely fantastic. Flavors are out of this world. You can’t go wrong with anything you order. Even my very picky wife cannot get enough of this place. Some call her the female Gordon Ramsey and she rated this 5/5. Get the shrimp a La brazas and the salsa verde enchiladas
Best place to dance on Sunday. Friendly dancers and knowledgeable people who can safely make you a better dancer
Great huge portions delicious
