If I could give a zero I would. Don't buy your wedding cake here !!! You will regret it. After promising a certain cake and deposit given. A few weeks later gave details that wasn't what was agreed upon. Took a 800 deposit when I ask for cookies instead of cake. Pending small claims court. Tried to remove rating.

Best cakes I have ever tasted! They make wonderful specialty cakes! Their selection of Gluten Free desserts are amazing and everything I have tried from their bakery is so delicious. We ordered a birthday cake for my 2 year old son and his favorite truck is a garbage truck so Byrdie's made a garbage truck cake which turned out so cute!! Best bakery in Bakersfield

I have ordered from here multiple times, blue champagne, vegan chocolate, their ready to go pastries never disappoint either. The best hands down for everything even their cookies are soft and chewy, the cup cakes and cakes nice, moist and fluffy, and gosh their combination of toppings and whipped creams and just overall so delicious I could go on and on!
So it was daughters 18th birthday and I was looking for a local bakery to make my daughter something special.After doing some research and reading great reviews I decided to give Byrdie's Bake Shop a try,boy! I'm sure glad I did. My daughter loves cheesecake, and after calling the shop and talking to Aaron it turns out they offer a few different variety's.Aaron was very helpful and knowledgeable I ultimately decided on the traditional with strawberry topping.It was delicious,not dense or to sweet just right!, the Graham cracker crust was phenomenal. During this whole quarantine/pandemic fiasco her senior year of high school along with her 18th birthday was ruined,but Byrdie's definitely came thru and put a smile on her face. Thank you Byrdie's for that amazing cheesecake,we'll definitely be ordering from you in the future.

Ordered a cake and it was beautiful. Sadly the inside not so much. Paid almost $200 for everyone to not eat the cake because the top layer "tasted like ice cream without the ice cream" and the bottom layer was extremely dry. But like I said, the outside was beautiful!
