One of my FAVORITE food service establishments. Last visit we waited 15 minutes past the opening time until we found another door open so we had to let the staff know of the locked door. Meals are prepared right in front of you. My favorite is the sweet pork tacos. Ask for the pico in the side because it’s very juicy and makes the tortilla too soggy. (Easy fix for that perfect taco!) When I ate there I got a bowl and there ended up being water at the bottom of it, the salsa/cut veggies either weren't cut fresh or they were expired when added into the ingredients, I got home and had to get lemon and salt to season it because the chicken tasted so bland. I prefer chipotle, not sure if cafe rio cooks all their stuff fresh. Kinda had a refrigerator taste to it.
Love Cafe Rio! Fresh, fresh, great! I love that I can build my perfect meal. I probably won't order the quesadilla again. It was super cheesy for me, but I love the tostada or the salad!!
