The cooks need to learn which ingredients go in each dish. First they actually forget the fish! They also forgot the corn tortillas. We picked up the order. And had to go back in to tell them the order was incorrect. The dish has corn in it, and they forgot that too. They also added a container of cauliflower rice that I didn't order. They weren't busy, as it was just before closing. They were thinking more about closing than they were making my order correctly. Bad customer service!

The food was impressive! I normally don't like to order sea food to go but for this rare occasion we needed to heat and both wanted something semi light. (Not a big honken burger). So we decided on this location. I was surprised to see so many people inside during the middle of the day. Also super surprised that they had a wine list. The vibe was really chill, I went to the pickup stand grabbed my food and was gone in minutes. Once home I proceeded to devour the entire plate...(not the actual plate, just the food) I ordered the catfish with fries and street corn. Everything was very well seasoned. My only complaint is that they placed the fish directly on top of my fries so the fries were very soggy. Besides that everything tasted great and I will be back.

The idea of a fast food restaurant serving fish seems weird, however California Fish Grill pulls it off. Many different types of fish served with tasty sides for about 2/3rds the price of a seafood meal at a full service restaurant. And the food is great tasting. This place has become our favorite restaurant for fish and we’ve started eating here once a week. It’s good food and we can afford it. The atmosphere is sterile looking, typical fast food interior But who cares, the food and prices are awesome.

The one in Fresno was really good the staff was super helpful .. I didn’t even know there was one located in Bakersfield ,she put me up on game,I will definitely hit the one there when I get home
Literally the best food I've had for awhile. Shrimp dynamite bowl is a must and the ladies working up front were very sweet and knew what they were doing. Enjoyed sitting outside on their patio as well.

Was really liking this place but went one day and there was a male manager on a Sunday there and he was just so cold and not friendly, ruined it for me , won’t be back, I had tried the TooGoodToGo app and picked up a surprise bag and it was was my second time and ran into this manager and he made me feel like I was trying get something for nothing , when in fact the visit before I spent $19 for a shrimp bowl with upgrade like $2.75 more for cauliflower rice! With my tip added as a pick up added to that. Food is amazing but that Male manager is what has me saying no, I will take my business elsewhere

Loving this place because of all the healthy options! I'm on a little health/fitness journey at the moment and really appreciate all the veggie side choices! I got the shrimp skewers with cauliflower rice and grilled asparagus and I think I will get this again and again, probably every time I come here honestly, because it was just so flavorful and surprisingly low calorie! My plate was incredibly satisfying and I wasn't left wishing I had more food. I was plenty full! We ordered our food for pick up and everything was packaged nicely and ready when we got there. My only complaint is how long it took to get an answer about what type of oil they use - I tried to call and they couldn't tell me over the phone, so I sent an Instagram message and they never responded, even after a few months. Ultimately, they got back to me on here (rather quickly) and confirmed that they do not use peanut oil! Yay!

So I haven't actually eaten in the restaurant since I got some lunch to go but just approaching this place the smell was incredible. Walking up to take my order was a pretty scenic route, as I was looking at everyone's food along the way. The place looked very clean, there wasn't a whole lot of parking but plenty of seating tho, we got a salmon and fried fish sandwich with a side of fries. 20 minutes after I picked them up they were still very well textured and packaged my salmon was very good. The condiments and toppings were all very well balanced and flavorful. Me and the wife both agreed we'll have to come back for more great first experience. I can't say anything to the staff and service other than my food was prepared and ready to go by the time I got there.
I thought it works be a regular fish and grill but boy was I wrong. Good food for the lunch time atmosphere.
