First time for breakfast here and I was not disappointed. I had some chilaquiles ala diabla.I went for dinner with my wife one day and the food wasn't good at all. Must be a different chef because I was totally disappointed. Not sure if I'll go back. I can cook better than that.

Husband and I came here to watch soccer game around noon. Great service and great food. I’m glad it’s nearby so we will be coming more often. Kid friendly as well my toddler had a good time. I recommend this place 10/10

Thought we would try this place since it has a new name. Hoping it would be better than Rubens and it's the same. Waiter took forever taking our order. I had to ask for chips and dip. Food took 45 loooong minutes to get to us. Excuse was, we had a couple of big tables come in but they came in after us. Had to ask a few times where our food is. Yes we should've left. Waiter and waitress both said they were so sorry our food took so long to get to our table, but not sorry enough to give us a discount for waiting what seemed like forever. Anyhow, won't go there again and the place looked the same as when it was Ruben's.

Went in around noon and the place was pretty empty but was greeted nicely and sat down promptly. After a while the server finally came and took our drink order and left us with some salsa and chips. I ordered a michelada and my wife had a watermelon margarita but we never got our drink until our food came out which was 30 mins later. The food was good but the service and lack of awareness to our parties needs made the lunch sub par. Sorry to say we won't be going back.

I have been wanting to try this place out after seeing it posted in the local restaurant group. We came in during the Sunday Brunch Buffet and it was packed. The way they had the buffet tables setup was not too efficient and very crowded. The service was decent and there was good energy. I opted for a breakfast burrito and the server told me it was going to be about 20-30 minutes if I ordered from the menu (most likely because their brunch buffet was priority). I got the burrito about 20 minutes later and the potatoes were not cooked all the way. I was disappointed but I'm willing to come try it again when it's not so busy.

Absolutely delicious Mexican food. I've been on a quest for the best Chile Relleno in Bakersfield, and these guys win, HANDS DOWN. Great service too. Delicious margaritas. Decent prices. Decor gets a B, but the rest gets a solid A+. Been twice this week! Can't wait to go back.

The food was good with the exception of the beans that tasted like tap water but the service is fine the regular prices I spent 90 dollars for 4 people and a children's menu. The order was shrimp a la diabla enchiladas suizas 2 chicken burritos and a child's enchiladas. The salsa and chips are very good. I would return to eat here. Mr. Javier is the person who served us, very attentive, helpful and friendly. I have come to think that many times it is not so much the excellence of the food but the pleasure of seeing how they understand you and serve you.Kid-friendliness: There are chairs for the children to sleep on

Came for Taco Tuesday...$2.50 tacos and $5 house margaritas...we got Mango and they were good ? service was great...place is a but outdated. Overall good experience.Someone was playing MJ all night from the jukebox wich was definitely a plus haha ?
