I believe there should be standard portion sizes for each menu item. I’ve noticed a significant variation in the amount of protein I receive. For example, today I ordered double steak, but the portion I received was similar to what I typically get for a regular order, and it came with a $19 price tag. Also, I've noticed that the staff often seem unhappy during my visits. Consistency with portions and a positive atmosphere would definitely be nice to have.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this place was so disgusting I had no choice. Normally, I love Chipotle, but this location is a total disaster. Where do I even start?
I asked for just rice, chicken, and a tortilla for my dog, and they said, “Sure, we’ll charge you less for that.” Guess what? At checkout, they hit me with the full price of a burrito. Scammy much?
Now, the portions? Absolutely pathetic. I ordered steak, and they gave me half a scoop—barely enough for a toddler, let alone an adult. I counted maybe eight tiny pieces across TWO bowls. Is this a joke?
Then, the fajitas. I found an entire chunk of an onion in my bowl. Seriously, it was like a quarter of an onion. Next time, I’ll just order a damn whole onion since that’s apparently what they serve here.
The quality of the food was so awful, I lost my appetite and threw the whole mess in the trash. Honestly, Chipotle should be ashamed of this location. Don’t ever come here unless you want to pay for garbage.

Showed up around lunch and they didn't have rice. As soon as the rice was ready, they didn't have chicken. You have one job.

If there was a Zero Star button I would have pushed that. I Went in around 6pm and there was no one in line. Stood there for 2/3mins before an employee came over to greet me and start my order. Ordered a steak quesadilla and they put almost zero meat in it. They proceed to cut the quesadilla in half before they cooked it…who does that? Then started with my second item which was a bowl. They gave me two scoops of rice and tried to give me a third. I said that’s way too much rice so then she just scoops it back into the bin. Move on to payment, where I waited after my food was just sitting there for another 5 mins for someone to take my payment. I paid and the employee then proceeds to give me 96 cents back in all dimes. You guys are a multi million dollar corporation you don’t have quarters!?!? Got home and the food was absolutely terrible. No flavor at all. This chipotle use to be good but I don’t know what’s going on over there now. Do not recommend.

I’m so big on a hello or welcome upon entering an establishment. I was greeted with multiple welcome ins, as well as to other entering behind me. Food was fresh and the portion filled the entire bowl. The food line was clean and stocked. The eating area was cleaned every few minutes by a staff member upon observation. Job well done ??

Unfortunately so much of the quality of experience you will receive is determined by the staff. I have been to every chipotle location in Bakersfield several times(been here 3 times). The team here just isn't so happy working and it reflects in the portion sizes.
