Quiet place, love the Hawaiian/tropical atmosphere in the middle of the Bakersfield area. Got the huli huli burger, was satisfied. Highly recommend!

Wonderful experience in Bakersfield!!!!! We came at 20:15, and they accepted us, evening knowing they are closing at 20:30. The service is super friendly, prices are more than correct, and meal is very very good!!!! Highly recommend!

It was our first time here and the place had quite a bit of people dining in. We ordered our food and found a table to sit at. I love the atmosphere it tells a story and I now want to try surfing and take a trip to Hawaii for some reason. The workers are extremely kind, nice, and helpful. Food came out quick and was nice and hot. I can't wait to go back. 10/10

Kid-friendliness: I took my 4 children here for my babies 2nd birthday and everyone was so nice. It was nice to see people react to kids in a restaurant in such a loving and kind way.
Oh and they did have booster seats for the little ones.

First time here for me, I doubt I'll be back. My mom was ok with her food.

The pork had no flavor other than a wet semi salty bath. The corn was basically in a soup there was sooo much water. The chicken was overly greasy although it did have good flavor.

The restaurant was very clean so that was a plus.

Very much not worth the price we paid though.

Cool place, great fish and chips. We came about 30 minutes before they closed and the staff was super friendly, we never felt rushed to finish our dinner and the food was excellent.

We stopped for lunch on a road trip to L.A. and got Javi's tacos...omg! They were THE BEST tacos I have EVER had! Beer-Battered shrimp with poblano roasted corn and Avocado on top.. amazing!
I literally rave about them to everyone I know. My mom and I loved them so much that we stopped there again for dinner on our road trip back home..
Seriously! Go try out Coconut Joe's. I wish I loved closer because I want to try other menu items as well.

Had not been here for a long time but it is one of our favorite place to hang out with family and friends. Tha place is still as good and the ambience is as good as ever. The receptionist is so friendy and professionally answered the questions of our family who are new to this place, in no time we got our orders and sitted in a very cozy table. My grandson was so happy and excited with all the displays he sees around the restaurant ,It did not take long when our food was served, professionally presented, warm and ready to eat.The drinks were easy to access. The sevice staff always follow up on our needs with a smile. A very wonderful experience to have a family dinner. For sure we will always be coming back for more.
